For 6 months leading up to the wedding, we constantly needed help planning and scheduling. We did it ourselves, so we were lost a lot. Enter Ashley Inman. Patient, kind, caring, joyful and super knowledgeable. She took the time to help us on multiple occasions with scheduling, tips, planning, and a whole bunch of random things. She recommended the pizza vendor - River City Wood Fire - which was the greatest food of our lives. Had it thanks to Ashley. She directed the whole family for photos which in our case was NOT easy. Our day of coordinator was suddenly injured and taken to the ER. We had no one to organize and arrange the entrance. Enter Ashley Inman. we had multiple speeches that flew by and neither of us remember. Enter Ashley Inman and her videographer team. 3 other photographers we interviewed before her said they'd charge extra for Black and White photos and also choose them instead of letting us choose. That was a big deal to me. Enter Ashley Inman. Not only did we get thousands of amazing photos, but got them all in black and white too. Bottom line. Our experience with the Inmans was wonderful. They kept up contact to keep all planning on track and made us feel like very important clients. The Inmans divided and conquered to get the most shots in the time we had. They knew exactly where to be at each part of the way and if something was running late unexpectedly, they knew how to make up the time elsewhere so we still were able to enjoy the full wedding. She worked with us right from helping us choose the locations for our TWO ceremonies. My partner and I are both born and raised in India and as such were not very aware on how to go about planning our elopement in a different country. Leah sent over a very detailed list of potential locations, with pros and cons of each, she worked with us to understand how we envisioned the day. She helped us zero in on the two most gorgeous venues and travelled with us to both of them, including pit stops at our apartment to get the cutest photos with our cat and the hotel where we changed into our Indian attires for the second ceremony. Leah also helped us chalk out the timeline for the day and ensured that we had little buffers for little delays here and there. On the day of, Leah worked perfectly in coordination with out planner/officiant. She got the most beautiful and real pictures of the two ceremonies. I am the most awkward person in front of a camera, and she managed to make me look like beautiful, she perfectly caught the small little moments during the ceremony that we would always cherish. For our Indian ceremony, she went ahead and found the perfect little rock at Belle Isle and got the most perfect golden hour shots of our garland exchange ceremony. We hired Lindsay to be our month-of coordinator, but in the year leading up to the wedding Lindsay went above and beyond. Discussing details of the wedding with her was like talking to a close friend. We never felt like we were just a number or just "the October 1st wedding." She was so approachable, friendly and upbeat but her guidance showed a deep knowledge and shrewd understanding of all the inner workings of the wedding industry. She never let us get confused or led astray by other vendors because she instantly understood our personalities and our vision and put our minds at ease with every conversation. All of her preparations in the months leading up to the wedding allowed her to know our wedding like it was her own so that by the time we got to the big day I completely handed over all control and decisions to her and didn't have to worry or second guess anything. We had no hesitation trusting her to flawlessly execute every detail of the wedding - and she did! I am sure she answered a million last minute questions from vendors and guests and made quick decisions on things I would have never contemplated, but I never saw or heard it (and for that I am eternally grateful). Problems that could have derailed the day became insignificant hiccups - not only because of her quick thinking and creative problem solving, but also because she was calm, composed and smiling while she fixed the issues. You cannot help but feel relaxed and taken care of when Lindsay is in charge. She allowed us to keep our anxiety levels at a minimum and enjoy our day - something that is invaluable to any bride and groom. Lindsay is unstoppable. Torrential rain, mountains of DIY decorations to transport, last minute changes and even the birth of her child couldn't slow Lindsay down. Lindsay was on maternity leave just a few weeks before our wedding but she never missed a beat. She made sure we had coverage from her business partner Windy (who was also wonderful to work with) but we didn't even need it! She had everything so well-planned in advance of her short absence and she jumped back in so seamlessly afterwards that it was as if she never left. I was lucky enough to have a team of fantastic wedding vendors, but Lindsay was by far the best of the best. If you are debating whether or not to hire a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, stop questioning it and talk to Lindsay at LK Events and Designs. You will not regret it!
