    The Reveler stage

I attended a Plunky & Oneness performance at The Reveler during the Holiday season. This was my first visit to this venue & I must say I was thoroughly impressed with this space. From the ambiance to the food to the leadership behind this venue every aspect was exceptionally presented. I look forward to being a regular attendee at future performances at this venue. The fact that this venue also acknowledges that it is an LGBTQ+ safe space was paramount to my decision to attend events & support this business as frequently as I can. I already have tickets to another show & I cannot wait to attend.

Had a great first experience at Reveler for a concert. Street parking was easy, and the venue's intimate size means every spot has a great view and sound. The Pride Month cocktails were creative and delicious, and the space itself is full of personality. Service was spot on. Behind the bar are uniquely themed artistic rooms that I'm excited to explore next time. A really fun and distinctive spot in Richmond--I'll definitely be back.

Had a wonderful evening experience listening to Plunky and the Oneness of JuJu. Peace, love , and inclusion at its best. The ambiance was eclectic and "cool." Ordered food but it did never came to the table. Had to cancel it. Other than that it was a great time.

The coolest, chillest place in Richmond, by far. The staff never disappoints, the music is always top-notch, and the place itself is an experience.

Reveler is a great, intimate place to see live music. I've been twice - once for a dry happy hour and then for a show. Service was great both times. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Haven't tried the bites yet, but the drinks are pretty good.

Boy was this an experience ! As advertised. There were so many cool corners with things but i recommend coming to experience them all. The espresso martinis were so good as the esspresso was made fresh to order. Also they had games ! I was so entertained. There was also an amazing performance. I definitely will be back this spot had the quirky vibe I needed. The service was also really good. They had ran out of espresso and she let us know it's going to take an additional five minutes to brew some more. Those attention to details are pristine.

A show at the Reveler is a must-do! The atmosphere is so unique. Loved getting to explore each of the themed rooms. Drinks were delicious and table service was pretty quick despite being very crowded.

The Reveler is great and and event space. Knowledgeable staff and great service I can wait to go back. Great place for happy hour. We also saw they do a lot of live jazz. Looking forward to going back.

I love, love, love this place. I went with my kids to celebrate my son's birthday. We wanted an experience and boy did we get one. We went on "Funk night" and the band they had was awesome. I didn't catch their name but they had a female singer who had some strong pipes! She sang everything and the crowd loved it. When we walked in I felt like a kid in a candy store, there's aooo much to look at, stuff on the wall, ceiling, I mean EVERY WHERE lol. It's like cracker barrel on crack lol. The fun part of the night was they give the house band a break and ask musicians and singers in the audience to sign up to get on stage. They don't know each other or what song they play till they get up there. It was fun and entertaining to watch. The highlight was they had a magician walking around while we waited for the show to start. He was awesome.. very entertaining and kept us captivated. We don't know how he pulled off this card trick but it was sure fun to watch.

    Seating at some tables

Honestly super disappointed about this but this was my first time coming here and I walked out 10 minutes after walking in. Why? Because where I was seated was INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. The table was tall, the chairs were tall, couldn't even get your legs under the table and the chairs were wobbly. I sat there for 10 minutes just uncomfortable. If I could have been at a normal table with normal chairs I would have been fine. Disappointed I couldn't even watch the show! The tables are also very close together. I posted a photo to my group chat and luckily they agreed this was just crazy for a business to have for seats. Everyone was very friendly though! My being upset is about the comfort for customers in these certain areas of the place. Mostly off to the sides. Definitely not disabled people friendly as far as the tall tables go unfortunately.

A very cool creative space for artists of all kind. We passed by it during a stroll in Carytown and saw that there was going to be a live Jazz performance at 8 pm. Since we didn't eat dinner yet, we circled back here after finishing up dinner. Surprisingly, the place was already packed. There was limited seating where the live performance was being held near the front of the establishment. Which was slightly disheartening because I was hoping for a casual sit down and didn't fancy standing during the performance. It was also a $15 cover charge for the band that was playing. I believe their band name was Sweet Potato's. Fortunately, they had a back lounge seating area which is a $5 ish cover charge. I thought it was odd at first that they were charging to sit in the lounge area and assumed it was probably because there was a live band playing at the moment so you could potentially come to the front and enjoy the music. After working our way to the back lounge area, I soon understood why there was a cover for it. It was a huge creative space. If you could look inside of an artists' mind, this is probably what you'll find. So many things to see, so many things happening, so many things to do. There's easels all around so people can freely sketch/draw, pianos, guitars, violin, sand art table, dummy with imitation skin to practice tattooing, etc. I loved that each table you sat at had a table number with a QR code to order your drink on your phone. You can keep the tab open or close out once you have placed your order. I really enjoyed my time here and if I lived in the area I would definitely come every weekend. Not even to drink or anything but to do artsy things in a different environment that opens my mind to creativity.

Such an amazing hidden gem in Carytown, I went for the bossa nova this week and every show I go to is just amazing. Definitely try the new summer cocktails, all the bartenders are attentive and consummate professionals. 10/10!

From the outside, the building has this classic warehouse vibe that fits right in with the historic feel of the area. There's a big sign so you can't really miss it, and the overall look is super inviting if you're into that old-school industrial style. When you up to the entrance, you'll go up the stairs to find the staff checking your tickets. Once you're inside, the place opens up into a big, open floor plan with a solid mix of standing room and a few spots to sit along the wall. The layout works well for concerts, the sightlines are good, and everything feels close to the stage even if you're not right up front. The inside keeps that warehouse feel going. It's exposed brick, high ceilings, just a bit gritty in a cool way. The bar is off to the side and stretches pretty long, so grabbing a drink was quick! Bartenders were friendly and the drink selection covers the basics. Nothing wild, but you'll find everything you need for a good night out. I went to see Jutes for the first time, and it was such an awesome show. The energy in the room was electric, and the sound quality was surprisingly clear for a venue this size. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and you could feel the crowd's excitement the whole set! This was definitely a solid spot for live music in Richmond. I love a small concert venue, and would definitely go back for another concert!

Showed up early prior to doors opening to ensure we got a good spot which is a must especially if you'd like to be close to the stage. The staff was really friendly and set up barricades by the door which helped corral the line. I loved that they had a metal detector set up and a security check point. When arriving no one was a the host stand to direct us to our table and the only person in Camel gear said he was a sound tech and couldn't help. Went back to the bar side and told the bartender our table number, he advised which table it was. There were several of us trying to get this sorted let me add Finally seated we had the same bartender come over to ask for orders. I inquired about the HH food specials that are posted at the bar Sun-Fri 3-7. The guy tells me they don't do HH on fridays. Ok... so he leaves while we browse the menu. Then another worker comes over and says sorry we double booked your table, you can't sit here. He also said, this happens all the time!! Maybe fix your system if it's an often occurrence. Yes a refund was issued but at this point the place is full, bar and all bar tables. So we stand with our drinks (3 of us) and hover by the bar looking for an opening so we can order food bc we're starving. Luckily in mins a table opens up. We sit down and wait and wait and wait. So I go to ask if there's table service or if we should order at the bar. No, there's table service. Finally the guy comes over takes our order for food. At this point from getting there to ordering it's been an hour and we are starving. We order the quesadilla, bbq tacos and cheesesteak. This takes another 45 mins.. ugh Food comes and isn't great. Tacos are super doused in bbq sauce and cheesesteak was bland. My gf is not a picky eater and she only ate one bite. The quesadilla seemed to be alright by her mom's standards. We finally get the bill, put out the card but the guy doesn't come back. My gf takes card to the bar to pay. Person 1 hands it to person 2, gf is standing there waiting to pay- never gets the bill/card back. Then person 2 asks my gf, what can I get you to drink. She says I'm trying to pay my bill, person 1 just gave it to you. Person 2 says, I don't have your card. Minutes later they determine she put it in front of another patron.
