If you're interested in picking up beer their selection is limited, but they do carry some craft beer such as Terrapin. Wine and wine coolers can be found here, too. They carry a selection of incense, and their store has a strong odor of incense as well. As with all stores these days tobacco products are behind the counter and a glass window. They are a Marathon gas carrier and Country Convenience gas prices are on the high side.

I did not have a return tank so with tax a "purchase" tank was $75. Once the tank was used, out of my own stupidity I assumed I could return the tank and get a refund for the tank itself since you can "exchange" tanks for $27 plus tax. Nope. They said I purchased the tank and I could exchange it but not get a refund for the tank. Propane tanks have a 12 year life span but the one they "sold" me expires in 4 years. Hmmmm. Parker's only contracts with Blue Rhino for the tanks and I could contact Blue Rhino and see if they would do a refund. On my receipt Blue Rhino is not mentioned anywhere - the only name on it is Parker's. Ok, so I'm stuck with an old tank. Then I go to Tractor Supply and buy a brand new tank so I have 2 tanks so I don't run out of propane in the middle of grilling. The brand new tank filled was $81. WHAT? Only $6 more than Parker's 8 year old tank. Several months later I had both tanks refilled at Tractor Supply for a shade less than $30. Wait! What? Approximately $15 a tank to refill vs $27 plus tax at Parker's for an exchange. The math was starting to add up really quickly. After looking around a little more, if you want to do tank exchanges instead of your own refills, there are certainly better deals at a major grocery retailer saving you $4-5 per tank. I like Parker's and buy approximately $300 worth of gas there every month because they are clean and convenient, but they certainly won't be getting my propane business. I also tried calling Parker's customer support line to discuss why they would not provide a refund for the 8 year old tank they "sold" me. Two calls, two no answer, two voicemails left as requested, and never received a return call. Customer support? You decide.

I don't know anything about their gas quality and their prices are pretty much in line with the rest of town. I do know they have a beer cave with great selections and an amazing array of fountain drinks - almost as good as the Wawa back home. You can get Coke or Pepsi and there are as many as a half dozen slushie/icee drink options at any given time. You can find some pretty sweet snacks and the lines move fast. They keep the bathrooms clean and the prices reasonable. It's across from a Parker's, which is yet another reason to stop in Chu's.

I stop down the road at this location for fuel and I bought water and Ice without incident. It is a gas station so you pay for the convenience, but at least they had what I needed. Not sure how many times that I will stop here but the owner's daughter seemed friendly and greeted me, rang me up and on my way. I saw a post that the owner was also at the market and sold out. You could tell that the little shop must have been busy because there was only 1-2 of each item left. It was really hard to choose. We went with the jalapeno cheddar sourdough, the sourdough chocolate chip cookies, and the organic bread dip mix. The bread was dense but soft and airy, exactly how sourdough should be. The jalapeno cheddar taste was delicious but not overpowering or too spicy! I ate it with the bread dip with oil and highly recommend it. But the cookies... O.M.G.!! I never had sourdough cookies and honestly don't think I can go back to a regular cookie. The dough part of the cookie was so soft and flavorful and the chocolate was mild, not overly rich. Amazing! 10/10!! Le Petit Farmstand uses the honor system-- there's a small cash box, but they also accept Venmo, Zelle and CashApp. I recommend bringing a reusable tote for your shopping, but they also provide paper bags.
