I will say the only downside is that the pricing on everything was a little high but the housewares was a little cray-cray. We were admiring a green resin bowl and decided we didn't need to spend $30 on a bowl at the gas station. At the last minute, we said, what the hell, we're on vacation, let's get it. As I scanned it at the self checkout, I saw that it came up as $130... which had to be a mistake RIght?!? When we double checked we noticed that the 1 in the 130 was written in by hand. I'm guessing because their pricing gun doesn't go above 2 digits... because why would it. I know you're the fancy Parkers but damnnnnn!

Standard procedure, but they lost a customer because we decided not to stay in Savannah. I'd never heard of Parker's, but apparently they're some kind of chain, like Royal Farms up north. The bathroom had signs on the door about needing a key, but the kid behind the counter seemed confused when we asked for it. It wasn't locked, so maybe take down the signs? The ladies room door was partially blocked by boxes. I'm not above using the men's room, especially when it's a single stall bathroom, but we were able to squeeze into the ladies. The sink was interesting. Someone had tagged the trashcan. We grabbed some coffee, ice for Jeremy's insulin cooler, and some gas. It was a fairly lackluster experience.

Counter service was less than friendly. However, there is a catch 22 to gas attendants or cashier. Either they are too friendly or not friendly enough. It is important for them to have a balance in their demeanor especially if the town host many visitors as Savannah does. Parker is a hit for location and convenience.
