A week before I had to reschedule and was able to quickly contact them through WhatsApp to find a better time. Check-in was quick and although the ladies didn't speak much English, everything was great and my skin felt clean, hydrated and radiant at the end. You also get a nice scalp massage and facial massage during the facial and tea at the end. Overall a really nice experience and break in the busy city. Would recommend Desértika and they have several locations in Condesa, Polanco and other popular areas.

We pretty easily found the location thanks to the neon green SPA sign affixed to the wall - stylish and helpful! Upon arriving, our services are started on time and neither of us had any complaints. My massage therapist was a bit of a talker which I didn't mind (I'm also sure I could have asked for less or communication if I desired) and I was very relaxed throughout, nearly dozing off a couple times including during the facial. Once we wrapped up, they provided us with hot tea and we oriented ourselves comfortably in the lobby before exiting. We meant to revisit at least one more time before leaving CDMX but it didn't work out. Next time though!

On the price sheet it stated that it was 546, then at the register they charged an additional 98 to remove the gel polish, 546 for new polish, and added a manicure for 285. I even went back after doing the math on my head thinking she over charged me for the pedicure I had to skip, but the cashier was kind enough to show me the break down. After another 20 minutes of waiting and asking, one of the hairdressers changed into a massage tunic and rubbed my feet for 45 minutes. Nice enough., but no real training, no strength. How hard can it be to find two masseuses 24 hours in advance? Don't worry about the area though. People are so scared of anything different. Its fine, very tame compared to say, Bangkok, lots of people from young to old. And my wife did like her massage, said it was strong and professional. All the staff particularly the lady in the reception were very friendly and helpful. She spoke a little bit of English too. I took the Japanese massage - shiatsu. The masseuse Ignacio was very good and speak great English. If you are looking for a massage place, I'll recommend this one. If you have to wait, there are also good cafe, restaurants and a mall nearby. They also have a hair salon, facial, manicure & pedicure service. I may be back very soon during this trip if not the next.
