The lobby itself has comfortable seating areas as well as a Kids Zone and coffee shop. It is obvious that the members of this faith community care for each other and their faith practice. I grew up at this church. Donnie (the old choir director and pianist), as well as Alex (the new…read moreone), are both fabulous. The choir is beautiful. The church itself (the building), is gorgeous. And the childcare programs (CCCD, VBS) were always great! However, my family and I have had 3 funeral services with the church over the past few years (with two being in the last 3 months) and father Healy made an absolute abomination out of them all. He wouldn't allow my mother to write the eulogy from her heart and said it needed to be about the dead's relationship with god (which was especially difficult for my uncle considering that he could not speak and was severely disabled). We were not allowed to have ANY songs that held personal meaning (and yes, I specifically found churchy music for the occasion. It's not like I requested that WAP be played), and were told funerals are about god, not the person who passed. For my grandmothers funeral, father Healy stood up and told the audience that her 'ticket to heaven' was my uncle because she had to take care of him. He is a human being. The only reason father Healy got away with saying that is because he can't speak back. He would've NEVER said that about a person who could care for themselves (and proved that by not mentioning her other child). For my uncles funeral, he said that my uncle was not important to the beings on earth. He said that if my uncle was significant, there would be hundreds of people at his services and many eulogy's but look where we are. I am unspeakably disappointed in Christ The King and can not believe the death of my dearest friend has been made into a spectacle for someone we may not ever even meet. Don't have your loved ones services here unless your ready to ignore the love people had for them as well as your morals for an hour and listen to the ramblings of a rude man who was given a podium.

St. Anthony's Church is a great parish to celebrate Mass. This church is my childhood parish and…read morecelebrating Mass here reminded me of how welcoming the community is. All the members of this parish take great pride in helping one another and are always welcoming to visitors. The building itself is unique and the history behind the parish is just as unique. I appreciate that they still pay homage to the Portuguese settlers that constructed the building, even though the majority of the parish members are not Portuguese. This is definitely a great place to celebrate Mass, whether you are a resident of Falmouth or are visiting.

Masses tend to be crowded, even if they're Saturday vigils. They are wonderfully decorated for the Christmas season. However, it does have parking&traffic issues so be prepared. What an example you are for others with money should behave during a world crisis. What was CFC doing raising 6,000,000 million dollars to turn our beautiful little church into something that no longer fits in with are little market, our little library, our little post office. And CFC is still asking for more money another 1/2 of million dollars to continue. I asked a good friend what she thought of the church and she reply and I agreed with her. While Cotuit was building a church that looks like it belongs in Newport Rhode Island 6,943,390 people died of COVID and this number is most likely under rated as some countries had no form of reporting or lied about it. But CFC kept spending 6 million dollars on a Church that only needed to use folding for extra seating on 2 holidays a year. How many people lost their jobs, their homes, and had no money for food. Moreover, we now have the largest homeless population because of the epidemic. Wow 6 million dollars could have really help the homeless population. How many people could not say good bye to their loved ones and many are buried in graves with no names. How many people have post COVID illness that is slowly killing their body and may never recover. Think about how 6 million dollars could have gone for research to get these people healthy again and live normal lives and not become another homeless person. Again Mr. Kraft for demonstrating how wealthy people should behave during a world crisis. I hope the people that contributed to the 6 million dollars think about that and look at the new budget--it is all quite dehumanizing and shameful. It was bad enough that the CFC when it was small was the biggest rumor mill I have every seen. Moreover I have never witness the bullying of others and f were forced to leave the church. These bullies are responsible fo destroying peoples lives and reputation continue to spread rumors and even had the (sorry) the balls to call the victims of this chronic bad behavior accused them of theses rumors as if this was gospel. Rumors always spread fast and the truth follows slowly. I hope all of you that are going to end up paying 6.5 million dollars on the new CFC can live with yourself for ruining this very special town. What would you think your God would think of such selfishness. My God is giving and loving and the last thing on his mind would be to build a 6.5 million dollar church during a world pandemic. My God says you can worship anywhere and you don't even need a formal church. Remember all the bad behavior of the rumor mill and bullying continues all under the direction of the current pastor who did nothing to help the victims. It time that people get honest and start behaving accordingly and make some major leadership changes. I am disappointed in you all. Thanks again to Mr. Kraft for help all of us that needed help. I found this very disgusting, and the congregation should be ashamed of themselves. I had nothing to say, yet kept getting attacked. The Episcopalians say they teach inclusion, maybe they do, but not this church. Sorry I volunteered to help with the community, maybe this church should catch up on Christ teachings.
