I have never written a negative review, but I feel obliged to do so after witnessing and hearing the agony of this community and not being heard when issues are expressed with the staff. I'm concerned that they might be unaware of kifarah. It pains me to convey my disgust in Masjid Al Emaan. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have made me quite apprehensive about the honesty and professionalism of this establishment. To begin, there have been worrisome allegations circulating in the community about possible donation misuse. It is upsetting to think that such precious grounds may be contaminated by such unscrupulous actions. I hold masjids in high regard, and any actions that jeopardize their sanctity genuinely concern me. In addition, I must address the issue of some staff members' unpleasant and disrespectful behavior. Unfortunately, experiences with some people have made me feel uncomfortable and devalued. Furthermore, it is disturbing that the imams have no official education in Islam, and their lectures frequently lack depth and insight. As spiritual leaders charged with directing the congregation, they must have a thorough understanding of Islamic doctrines, customs, and the Quran. Their lack of understanding has a negative impact on the quality of religious instruction supplied to the community. I've also seen the claimed award ceremonies they hold. The claims are beginning to appear like more than just alleged utterances. The imam who hosted the community-sponsored award ceremony compared his mother's tea to the black stone in the Kaaba. It is quite troubling to claim to be religious and then make such an offensive statement. It is shameful and reflects poorly on your character. The tea allegedly tasted awful. He stated that his mother produced 300 cups of tea every night for the masjid, but neither I nor my wife received a cup since they kept the tea for themselves. Allegedly, this is common because many community members, including me (who have sponsored the iftars and suhoors with their hard-earned money that they have not stolen from contribution boxes), have expressed concern about how the food becomes scarce every iftar and suhoor because their spouses hide it. Nobody comes to the masjid for food; they come for community, thus such behaviors are unnecessary in the first place. I also ask everyone who reads this to submit any evaluations from masjid workers or family members as "conflict of interest". Be wary of any subsequent positive reviews. These individuals have been misled by their greed. I hope we can band together and try to help them get back on track. Everyone is good; we simply need to be able to hold everyone accountable so that they do not go astray. Be aware and understand that istidraj is genuine. I would not advocate donating to this masjid owing to a lack of transparency and fake projects; instead, look for more dependable sites to donate. The community members may bully me for this and report my review to have it removed, but remember that everything I say is for your benefit. Finally, there is a widespread belief that Masjid Al Emaan acts more like a family business than a charitable organization. This view puts doubt on the management's openness and accountability, raising concerns about their commitment to serve the community's best interests over personal benefit. They have every event sponsored by community members, and during Eid prayer, they threaten not to start praying until they obtain the money they seek for either the "parking lot" or the "masjid iftars and suhoors" (despite the fact that the community members have already paid for them). I have personally observed this. I must convey my deep worry over Masjid Al Emaan. As a member of the Muslim community, I feel it is our shared obligation to promote the ideals of honesty, integrity, and compassion. This masjid is very clean and beautiful but the sisters that are apart of the board are very rude. They are act like this is there house and we are guests. You are not allowed to put your chair anywhere you are comfortable. You are constantly yelled at during the Athan (when you are supposed to be quiet during that time) to move forward. Not to mention how controlling they are in the group chat I will not go into that one. So much dictartorship in this mosque on women's side. I wish the sisters would behave more like the brothers and not boss everyone around. They need to reevaluate the sisters on the board because they behave like a staff at a restaurant. Somuch tension from board members. I noticed that a lot of the positive reviews on this is from board members or family of board just for promotion but Allah knows best. My son and husband are very pleased with the brothers but the sisters can do more to better their behavior inshallah. read more

It sickens me to know how masjid staff members can be so fake. They dress religiously speak on Islam but are so fake. This masjid is not responsible when it comes down to children safety. a kid safety was jeopardized here. Children who attend their emaan academy are pretty racist here they are Arabs and they exclude other nationality kids. The adults who supervise children are busy chit chatting amongst themselves. The children are not watched during recess. Kids here are bullies and the masjid al emaan doesn't care to do anything about it ... as long as moneys coming in they won't care to do something about it. Very beautiful and safe location in Stockton. I however would never recommend going for iftari. Certain people get pushed to the front of the line. They package the food fast not letting you to have seconds even though everyone needs seconds after fasting all day. I went starting day 2 with my children and husband. I didn't realize that I couldn't use 2 plates even though one was for my 2 boys (seated at the picnic table) and one was for me. The 4 women were mocking me. The brothers side is very welcoming however, but the sisters need to work on their manners. Positive reviews are from board members and friends of board members. read more

Amazing masjid ! Very welcoming , the khutbas on Friday are excellent and uplifting , if you want a Emaan boost , this is the place to be . Super clean , community always welcoming and respectful. They also have , Family nights activities, Sunday Quran classes , during Ramadan it's amazing with iftar , qiyaam, and suhoor . The imams are very knowledgeable and always there for the community . The best thing I like is it's all mixed race and everyone is welcome and accepted in the masjid . I wouldn't recommend any other masjid in the San Joaquin county , let alone the country . read more

Love going to this place. I have a masjid with a school 5 minutes away from my house, but I choose to take them to Masjid Al-Eman which is 20 minutes away because they teach so much better and my kids love it. If you are looking for a place which has people from all different cultures and backgrounds and where you can learn authentic dean this is a great place. Almost every night they have something going on. I definitely recommend everyone to stop by and check it out. read more

Probably the best Masjid In the country. Very diverse and friendly community. The Imaams are very caring, khutbas are always informative and uplifting. My kids love coming to the masjid, they have learned so much from the monthly family nights, youth programs and sunday school. A very kid friendly masjid!
