This is the original (first) mosque built in the Santa Clara area. It is also referred to as masjid al-noor (mosque of the light). The five daily prayers are held here, women prayer room is available, and 2 Friday congregations are held regularly at noon and again at 1:30pm. Best masjid. Now foolish MCA EC does NOT keep clean. Good dawah by Palestini, Egyptian Phd and Jordanian imam about Saudi Arabia madhab. Long time Isha and Fajr salaat good to follow Arab people to learn. MCA have different imams from Jordan,Palestine and Doctorate from Egypt. No Saudi imams now and we should hire more from Saudi Arabia because best scholars from there. Went there for isha prayer yesterday. - Feels very homey, very intimate. Different vibe than the MCA, which almost feels too big. Place filled up quickly, mostly arab and desi immigrants. - Bathrooms were horrible, seriously, hire a custodian. - Imam's lecture after isha was timely and the message was relevant, but his english was really broken. - Womens section was completely cut off from the mens, they were in a different room altogether. read more

Very good Mosque. They have good parking and the wudu place is very clean.

This small neighborhood masjid was the first location of the MCA, which still runs this place as well. They have Jummah and also provide Islamic funeral services here. Limited parking since it is in a residential area. Very close to Kabab & Curry's restaurant. read more
