Assalamu alakum A very simple and humble building filled with beautiful Muslims. I love the unity at this masjid especially. I am a new Muslim and always feel welcome at masjid sabur. Friday jummah is always something special. Imam Fateen Seifullah is very knowledgeable and a great speaker. Masjid As-Sabur performs Islamic marriages, organizes educational programs and five daily ritual prayer services. The Masjid regularly holds Friday Jumu'ah prayer services at around 1:00 PM. Through the efforts of its Social Committee, Al-Ma'un, the Masjid has been recognized nationwide as a humanitarian organization for aiding the victims of the Hurricane Katrina disaster in New Orleans. Thanks to the partnership of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, the Masjid As-Sabur has also established a community Health Clinic. With the cooperation of Islamic Relief,the Masjid carried out Humanitarian Day services in 2005 and 2006 which provided food to the homeless. Al-Ma'un has conducted a community feeding program for several years and recently launched a neighborhood awareness center to provide free health care to needy community members. Along with its other services and activities Masjid As-Sabur is known for its innovative learning program at the burgeoning Fajr al-Islam school. In order to improve the lives of the people throughout the United States, Masjid As-Sabur has also established partnerships and initiatives with a wide number of Islamic, academic, and humanitarian organizations in the State such as the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. read more

Not many people attend this location. There is no full-time imam. The website is not well maintained, and the parking is limited. The area surrounding the building does not feel safe at all at all at all, especially after dark. Honestly, I think this is the worst place in town to visit for your daily prayers. read more

Alhamdulilah This Masjid Is Very Welcoming And Even Though The Masjid Is Located Near A Place Where The Homeless Are Living They Are Very Helpful Because They Offer Food, Drinks, And Many Other Resources That Helps The Homeless. They Also Provide Many Resources For The Community. They Have A Library And They Provide Quran Classes On Sundays. During Ramadan They Provide Free Meals And When They Have Leftovers They Pack Them And Give Them To The Homeless People That Are Nearby. They Do Taraweeh Prayers During Ramadan. I was in Las Vegas for 3months on a contracted work assignment. I stumbled upon Masjid As- Sabur. At the front gate, a brother realized that my family and I were new to the community, and said with a hearty smile, " Welcome to Masjid As-Sabur." My heart melted. From that point on the people in the community were welcoming, beautiful in character, mannerly, and loving. We were there at some point, on a daily basis. It was home away from home. The brotherhood exuded from this place was like a piece of Jennah, if I could imagine Jennah. Please keep up the great work. May Allah reward you with the highest level of Jennah. Aameen. read more
