Friday jummah is always something special. Imam Fateen Seifullah is very knowledgeable and a great speaker. Masjid As-Sabur performs Islamic marriages, organizes educational programs and five daily ritual prayer services. The Masjid regularly holds Friday Jumu'ah prayer services at around 1:00 PM. Through the efforts of its Social Committee, Al-Ma'un, the Masjid has been recognized nationwide as a humanitarian organization for aiding the victims of the Hurricane Katrina disaster in New Orleans. Thanks to the partnership of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, the Masjid As-Sabur has also established a community Health Clinic. With the cooperation of Islamic Relief,the Masjid carried out Humanitarian Day services in 2005 and 2006 which provided food to the homeless. Al-Ma'un has conducted a community feeding program for several years and recently launched a neighborhood awareness center to provide free health care to needy community members. Along with its other services and activities Masjid As-Sabur is known for its innovative learning program at the burgeoning Fajr al-Islam school. In order to improve the lives of the people throughout the United States, Masjid As-Sabur has also established partnerships and initiatives with a wide number of Islamic, academic, and humanitarian organizations in the State such as the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

We stood 3 feet apart for prayer. Mosque provides prayer rug size papers if you didn't bring your own rug. Plenty of hand sanitizers at the entrance. After prayer I noticed a couple selling Samosas outside the entrance. Usual food line wasn't there perhaps people are conscious to buy during Omicron spread. This is a great mosque with a huge Peking lot and with several date trees. Gives you a real desert feeling on Desert Inn Rd. They also have an Islamic School at this location as well as a book store. Time for Khutba is 1 pm and Iqama at 1:30 pm PST.

Protestant-leaning Christians will be gladdened too that Epiphany is undistracted by institutional blight as the Episcopal diocese has a "help-only" policy for its few churches which, like Epiphany, are alive and growing.

He has discovered and nurtured gifts and strengths within our parish, and as a result of his efforts, we are growing! So nice to hear "baby noises" during services and the sermons - many young families have joined us in the time I've been at Epiphany. By Father Rick's guidance, Father Chris has joined us this year and brought his own unique sense of enthusiasm for the joy of the Gospel to us. We now have 3 active, well attended services weekly. We are members of NCG, and have Family Promise guests with us for a week, twice each year. Many more ministries keep our calendar hopping.

They were not pushy, and they knew a lot about the bags and what colors the company was going to come up with for the next season. Sad the store is closed now :((((
