Mason's Tree Service is the best. Daniel Mason responded quickly, despite being inundated with work after Helene struck the mountains. The crew worked fast and safely. unfortunately, this tree service get a big thumbs down, which is very unfortunate, I had an issue with their personnel, they were very threatening and aggressive . It's sad to see such behavior allowed from its staff to its clientele. No managers were on site and the owner honestly doesn't care who or how they are represented locally, after speaking with the owner, it was quite clear they prefer cashing your check to any level of conflict resolution, if you are looking for cheap and unsafe, masons will probably suit your needs, but you should not have your wife or kids anywhere near their crew! Just getting a tree service to show up for an estimate is half the battle. Danny's daughter in the office was professional and responsive to my request. Danny came out the next day if I remember correctly. His price was fair and he was up front that it could be several weeks before getting to me and my neighbor who also needed some work. It just so happened that within a week he had a couple of days between two big jobs and slipped our work in between. Did a great job and cleaned up well. I would definitely use them again. read more

Expert tree service! We got quotes from many other companies but Mason's seemed to stand out as one of the better ones. We had several mature trees too close or overhanging the house and many more that needed trimmed back. One tree was a 50 year old Oak that was growing no more than 3 feet from my front door. There was no room to just drop the tree whole so they had to take it down in pieces, working directly over the house most of the time. I had been apprehensive for days leading up to this but once I saw Mason's in action I stopped worrying. They were very careful with tying things off and controlling the movement of dropped sections. They really do know what they are doing! They were friendly and courteous throughout the process and they even arranged for the stump grinding service. Definitely Recommend! read more
