We had a job to remove large oak branches from over out house and garage, remove a small oak in the back and trim the cedars away from the south side of our cabin. Joseph and his team came prepared for this job. They came with chipper, hauling trucks and all the ropes, chain saws and climbing equipment to do the job safely and professionally. They spent pretty much the entire day working on the job and they went above and beyond. They blew all the leaves behind the house, down into the forest and collected all the debris from all the areas they worked over. The ground was left cleaner then it was when they showed up. They cut all the usable firewood into stove sized pieces for us and stacked it in the firewood storage area. I certainly plan to use Mason's for ongoing tree maintenance and yearly cleanup. I can't recommend these guys enough! I called Joseph at 10:30 on a Wednesday asking about an estimate. He told me he could be out, same day, at 1. He showed up when he said he would (strangely uncommon for most others) and said he could have our two large pines and 4 other various large bushes cleared out by Friday all for a reasonable price. Just wanted to share a good experience that I had with Mason's Treescape last week. They did a job walk, provided a free estimate, are licensed and appeared to be fully insured. We agreed on the scope of work and price for our large project, then scheduled the work. Our project included: topping several very tall Italian Cypress trees, removing several trees that were dead/dying, removing some old ground cover, and grinding stumps. Our property is ready for new landscaping to replace the old troublesome landscaping. They said that they would be here by 7:30am. Right at 7:30am, the entire crew and equipment rolled up including a truck with a 75' boom to reach some of the tree tops that were close to the house. It was estimated to take a full day, yet they finished in less time. The crew did complete clean-up, haul away and the dump fees were included as part of the estimate. They even agreed to expand the scope of the work for an agreed upon price. They use a shredder machine that turns the branches into mulch. This time we needed all the trees cleaned up and trimmed in our front yard, we have 9 mature pines and 3 other mature trees that have never been trimmed that we are aware of. Joseph from Mason's Treescape is amazing! I called him out for an estimate to remove two trees and trim up another large pine on my property. He was able to come out the same day to take a look and provide an estimate. He was honest and fair explaining the costs and how long the job would take. On the day of the work, Joseph showed up with his crew bright and early and got straight to work. I asked him last minute if they could trim back another tree on my property that wasn't originally addressed and they made it happen for a minimal additional cost. They were very professional and took their time to ensure each step was completed properly. At my request they stacked up the logs from the trees being removed so I could use them for firewood at a future date. The other pieces were placed into a wood chipper. Fun fact: the wood chips are donated to a horse center in Apple Valley so nothing goes to waste! I love a company that finds innovative solutions and avoids waste. Joseph took his time pruning a very large pine in my front yard and explained measures I could take to better care for my tree. I will be having him out annually to prune it now. The tree looks so much bigger and fuller. His crew were very organized and took great care to clean up all branches and mess from the tree removal. If it weren't for the stacks of logs and missing trees you would never know they were there! That is how great a job they did.
