I certainly got that. However, I can say that the services provided went above and beyond the call of duty. First of all, the cut looks good. Jay saw some uneven sections in my hair that my last barber had done which had become more pronounced over time. He fixed that and trimmed up my beard to match my hair. Throughout the process, he asked how I wanted certain aspects of it to look. I provided some input here and there but mostly trusted what he thought was best. This was a good decision. Since I was a new customer, Jay also provided a complimentary skin exfoliation service. I didn't realize how bad I needed it. I keep clean and scrub every day but after the application of his high end product followed by a hot towel, I was told at dinner that my skin was absolutley glowing. He also finishes off every cut using these vintage Oster Stim U Lax Handheld Vibrating Back Shoulder Hand Body Electric Massagers. Gotta say, those really ironed out all the kinks I get from sitting at a desk all day and then hitting the gym. They get riiiiiiight into those deep tissues and it's the perfect thing to send you on your way. The people here really have a passion providing excellent service. His hair was noticeably uneven throughout, with large sections cut at completely different lengths. Unfortunately, it's uneven enough that I'm not even sure it can be corrected without taking his hair significantly shorter than we wanted. What makes this even more frustrating is that I paid $48 ($8 tip-my mistake) for a CHILD'S haircut. If the barber who cut his hair is still learning or doesn't yet have the experience to complete this type of cut independently, that's completely understandable--but then someone more experienced should have been supervising and checking the haircut before we left, especially when charging full price. I reached out to the business afterward and provided photos because the difference in length is honestly shocking. At this point, I'm hesitant to even have it corrected because I don't want my son to lose significantly more hair just to make everything even. For a $40 children's cut, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a professionally finished, even haircut. Unfortunately, that was not our experience
