There was no indication on the website or even Facebook that there were actually no available bookings. I don't know who drafted the email since it appears as though Sarah is incapable of correspondence at this time, but I would STRONGLY advise them to at least update the business' Facebook since new clients who are not on the mailing list would have no way of knowing she was in the hospital. I am not unsympathetic as to her medical problems, but there really ought to be contingencies in place for this sort of thing. My advice to prospective new clients is to attempt to contact Pacific Tranquility Massage BEFORE booking to accertain if Sarah is even available. I do wish Sarah a speedy recovery. For clarity my original review is below. I waited outside for 15 min past my appointment time and no one showed up and the door was locked. I tried calling and didn't get an answer.

She is kind and compassionate. She listened to what I needed, as well as what I didn't want. She checked in with me often and adjusted her pressure accordingly. My last appointment was with Melanie, the owner. She was incredible, too! She, like Susanna, listened to what I needed and began her massage on the areas that were giving me the most discomfort. She also checked in with me often to see if the pressure was working for me. Now, I am extremely disappointed, but mostly heart-broken. In a short span of time, I bought multiple packages (with gratuity already included for a stress-free, all inclusive experience) so that I could take care of people that I love, but the big motivation for me was to support the owner, who I considered a blessing when I was just starting out on my healing journey. I booked a session each for multiple family members and friends, hoping to make meaningful connections between people I cared about (the owner being the focal point) and to build a network of regular clients for the owner, who would then suggest her business to others in their circles. Unfortunately, I will never patronize this business again nor will I continue to recommend the services and bring my friends & family here; I am now warning them to steer clear because of how unpleasant my experience has been. If you are looking for a massage therapist, this business is definitely worth a try! As a reviewer, I feel like the least I can do is provide an honest update of some things to keep in mind. 1.) New, Unlisted Policy: If you are a No Call/No Show, and you've purchased a package, you will lose TWO sessions as a penalty. If, like in my case, you miss the last session on a package, you will lose that session and you will be charged for another session. At least that was my experience when we committed our first and only offense. 2.) The Reasoning: I was told packages would possibly be removed all together because of the rising occurrences of NC/NS. This is because sessions booked with pre-paid packages are seen as working for free on those days. There are more points I'd like to share, but the two above feel like the most important.
