Debbie was nice and soft but that wasn't I was expecting in the massage. Very soft. The massage is not that cheap. It's $109 for an hour. Though I keep getting text messages of confirmation of my booking but they never mentioned that my therapist is not available today else I could have rescheduled for tomorrow. I spoke to a person at the front desk who seems not bothered by whatever you say he was just there to making bookings. On top of that I gave a tip in cash for the therapist. She before the therapy did not have enough energy to get out of bed let alone out of the house, it was a huge challenge before to get her up and out of bed. She now has the energy to get up and out of bed every day, to go to hbot therapy, and to do other things like going to see her friends, going to the movies, the beach, out to eat, going for a stroll around the neighborhood, going to museums and the market to pick out groceries, as well as going to the farm to see the animals which she loves, she also has been able to go from being able to walk 20-30 feet or so to being able up walk 6-700 feet all at once with continuous improvement, as well as being able to move her right hand and arm which was previously paralyzed before therapy, the hyperbaric oxygen therapy in combination with the red light therapy truly has been a blessing, and had given her the hope and capability of making a full recovery, giving her the tools she needs to claw her way out of her wheel chair and back to independence. Also the staff and owner are genuinely, truly kind and warm hearted people, the therapy center is also very clean always smells good and has a very homey atmosphere, making treatment very comfortable. That was the main reason I chose this spa and booked in advance. My appointment was fully confirmed. When I first arrived, there wasn't much of a greeting at the front desk. The woman working didn't seem very welcoming, and while everyone can have an off day, it didn't feel like a warm or professional first impression. I was then taken to my room and was already laying on the table when a male therapist walked in without saying anything. I only noticed because I happened to look up, expecting to meet Sky. Otherwise, I wouldn't have even known there had been a change. No one had informed me that my appointment had been switched. When I asked where Sky was, he explained (with some difficulty due to a language barrier) that she was working with a walk-in client. This was confusing and frustrating, as I had booked ahead specifically to see her. It was unclear why a walk-in was given priority over a confirmed appointment. I was already in a lot of pain and really needed relief, so I decided to continue. The therapist was kind, but because of the language barrier, he had trouble understanding my concerns. Unfortunately, the massage did not address my problem areas and did not provide the relief I was hoping for. The spa itself is clean, calm, and well maintained, and I have no complaints about the facility. My disappointment comes from the lack of communication, organization, and professionalism. When clients book with a specific therapist -- especially for pain-related issues -- that commitment should be honored, or at the very least clearly communicated in advance. This was my first visit, and I truly wanted to love this place. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and hesitant to return or recommend it. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reaches out to make this right, as this experience did not reflect the level of service I was expecting for the price.
