I previously had an amazing experience with Stacey as my masseuse, so I decided to take my husband with me for a couple's massage. I had Pete and I was less than happy with the experience. He started by greeting us barefoot, which was an odd choice. He coughed & cleared his throat throughout the whole massage. When I asked for the table warmer on, he said it was, but then bent down and turned it on. When he used his arms to massage me it felt like a hairy loofa *gross*. I had cupping added on to my service and I'm not sure if Pete knew what he was doing. I felt immediate relief when Stacey did my cupping, but the cups didn't stay and weren't nearly as helpful when Pete did them. Lastly, Pete lingered for a VERY long time after the massage. It's very awkward as you're trying to pay and leave a tip with someone is staring at you...still barefoot *professionalism* I would go back again, but I would definitely ask for Stacey. read more

I don't recommend this place. I walked in expressing wanting a full body massage but marked the chart where I was most tense. The masseuse ended up only working on my shoulders (the marked most tense area) and I was footed with about $150 bill for just an hour on my shoulders. The masseuse was also not friendly and did not ask questions when I was in obvious pain when she was working on me, nor did I feel very welcomed or comfortable. Literally I didn't think we would have enough time to get rid of everything in an hour and Teah did! I walked out a brand new woman. I think it's a hit or miss with this place. My muscles are hard and get knotted easy. I was assigned an older lady who could not reach all the way to my hip area when she was massaging the back standing on my head side. And she did not have enough strength. After one hour of massage, I did not feel any relief at all and she time me I should have a guy massage me next time. I still had to pay for the massage that didn't do anything. That was completely waste of time and money. I am afraid to try them again because I may end up with someone who can't massage me again. read more

I've been coming to CC Massage Center for a 90 minute session, once a week since Hurricane Harvey relocated me to Corpus. I have chronic pain, sleep & neuro issues, along with a few old injuries, that have turned me into a human knot, basically. I don't get massages to relax. (What does that word even MEAN?!) I get them, in conjunction with chiro care and my team of docs, so that I can function, run my home and my business. Selina S. has been my therapist since Day One. I also see Grace (front desk) and Cathy (the owner) often. They have become like family to me in the last couple of years. I look forward to Thursdays because the Massage Center is a quiet, serene place where everyone makes me feel welcome and cared for. I've had massages everywhere from 5-star hotels in Nashville, call-outs in L.A., chain places in New Orleans and Idaho, spas in Dallas, to a quick chair massage in Salt Lake Ciry (travel hurts, dammit)...and Massage Center is where I've had the best care. Rates are reasonable, there's no employee drama on display (common at certain chains) and their hours are accommodating. It is apparent that the owner doesn't just care about her business AS a business...she cares most about the wellness of everyone who comes through the door. She's still a working therapist. Grace always has something kind to say to kick your spirits up a notch. And Selina works her buns (well...hands, knuckles, elbows and thumbs) off every week trying to provide me some relief from the adhesions/knots/grossness I have from my jaw to my toes. There's a good chance she needs to get worked on after working on me! She's knowledgeable & down to earth, so I have felt awkward about asking questions or asking for more/less pressure. The location seems odd - in an atrium-type office building - and I felt weird about parking and finding the suite at first. And there's some ongoing construction on Corona that can make for a tricky entrance. Just ask Grace for help if you get turned around. Once you're in there, you'll forget that you're actually in an office building. There is no en suite bathroom...because office building...but you can run down the hall if nature calls. My honest 2 cents as a veteran of massage therapy for pain management and a devoted client of CC Massage Center (and Selina.) Odd location but the best care you'll find in Corpus. The staff is professional and really communicate with you well to make sure youre getting the most out of your visit. We've only had positive wonderful experiences- i literally cant stop gushing over how much we love this place. While driving down for a few days stay in Corpus, I searched for surrounding locations to get a couples massage. Found the Massage Center to have the most reviews, as well as excellent reviews. Called in and was able to set up a 90 minute session the next day. As reviews have said, it is in a large office building, but the parking is readily available and the office is easy to find. Greeted upon entering the Massage Center, filled out the first time paperwork in just a few minutes, and were then led back to the room shortly after. After our session, the wife and I walked out feeling extremely relaxed, rejuvenated, stress free, etc. We had the full package - hot rocks, hot towels, oils, and so on. Dona & Lora both knock it out of the park. I get massages almost weekly (at various places). Their 90min deep tissue, includes hot stones, aromatherapy, and the best relaxing music, Native American eclectic, for an unbeatable price. They have great hours and have never turned me down for a same day appointment. The facility is in a business park type setting, which is not especially desirable and my only complaint is the bathroom is down the hall and requires a key. It is inconvenient, as I always come especially hydrated; however, the service and their tables are THE BEST, hands down. Soft, temperpedic type material with a warmer. I LOVE laying on those tables. Their secretary, Grace, is an absolute delight. She is very sweet on the phone and follows up with detailed instructions on how to get there through the street construction that is going on. The center is in a big building, but they text you how to get in and find the suite. I was about 5 minutes little late because I'm not from Corpus and had a little trouble with the highways. When I got there I was greeted promptly and friendly. They were totally understanding. Went to the room with my therapist and from our discussion, I just felt a little off. Didn't know I had to choose between the scalp massage and the face massage. I thought full body meant full body, but oh well. Went to lay on the table, and the sheets smelled badly. Like laundry that got left in the washer overnight but got dried and put away anyway. I notified the therapist and she changed them right away. The room was dreadfully warm. My massage was okay. I feel like most time was spent on my shoulders and back. Arms and legs were just okay, but we were out of time. It wasn't an evenly distributed massage and I didn't feel very relaxed after like I usually do. Left with a headache, but at least she offered me some cool water which was very nice. read more

a little hard to find the exact spot but once I did it was excellent. Located in an office building behind Best Buy. I usually book my massages on the Island, but they were booked for the day and I needed one badly so I gave the CC Massage Center a try. The staff on the phone was very friendly and told me they had an apt. available and I got right in. The inside is beautiful and dim light, soon as I walked in I felt very relaxed and comfortable. Lora introduced herself to me and I filled out a form and was on my way, the massage room was very well decorated, places for your pants and phone... The massage table was heated, did not creak, and was very comfortable and smelled fresh of mint tea green. The massage itself was one of the best I've ever, she got all my knots out and and the entire time it was perfect temperature, perfect music volume, and relaxing. She asked multiple times if it was right pressure and if I was doing okay. At the end I was given a bottle of water and sent on my way. I feel amazing. I was in Corpus for a girls weekend and made an appointment for a massage in flight. They were able to accommodate me after texting their business line. When I came in for my appointment the masseuse explained what he was going to do and what I should do to get ready except I was having difficulty hearing him. I walked out of the room to ask him to repeat and he very kindly did. He massaged me with his hands and I added cupping service. It was the first time I had eluded cupping and I will never go back to a regular massage. My session was for 90 mins and I had fallen asleep. When I walked in I was stressed out from all of the activities I needed to get done the following week and from my travels and lack of sleep the previous night. I walked in to see if availability for massage. The lady at the front asked me what I was looking for. I told her I have a cervical fusion with back pain, back compensating neck. She walked me through what they could do and was very helpful. I was specific my neck can be massaged lightly, the back was ok for harder massage. She suggested I have a deep tissue massage. I opted for 30 minutes ($40) deep tissue massage. She asked if male was ok or did I prefer female. I was ok with the make, he put the amount of pressure on my neck that was perfect for someone like me. His deep tissue felt good and had some areas that really hurt so I asked him to decrease pressure, which he did. Needless to say I was happy with the massage. They had the warmest table! It was hot!!!! I loved it. Selena was my therapist. Selena was all over the place on my back. She started playing this DVD. There was no consistency the entire time. Skipping over problem areas, knots. Then when she turned that DVD over to the other side she got after it. Started trying to rub out knots, one minute she would find the tension in between my thumb then lose it. At that point I said just do back and shoulders and feet. I decided to call today to make an appointment for a One-hour massage for myself. As they answered the phone there was a conversation going on and laughter happening directly into the phone before I was greeted politely with "Massage Center how can I help you?" I asked if there were any appointments available today for a one hour massage? She said yes and what time would I like? I said what's your first time available? She then paused and asked to put me on hold. I said okay sure. They have done a great job creating a soothing atmosphere in their suite, which is inside an office building.
