I scheduled a massage, was called the day of due to the worker being ill, but they switched me to another worker for a different time. Then notified me that my massage would be 138.00. When I scheduled my massage it was 80.00. I was told that it the members price. I argued with the worker just to be told another set of excuses. I told them that is false advertising, you can not offer services at a set amount then change it. Needless to say I canceled and will never go there. read more

I'm a bit frustrated that my wife was able to secure services outside of office hours and I could not. They need to be more consistent.

The sales staff are very pushy. Also, whenever I tried to cancel an appointment due to some unforeseen circumstance, the staff asked as to why I'm cancelling. First, it's none of your business as to why I need cancel my appointment. Secondly, they charged me half as a fee for canceling! The rationale is because from the staff is because they not certain they will be able to fill the spot. They did not even offer options to reschedule... Unbelievable! First of all, I'm not ever a fan of "chain businesses" unless your name is Nordstrom or Lululemon. I tend to steer clear of the chain businesses because I feel the quality of customer service is almost always at least half that of an independent small business. Especially when there is a membership involved because at that point all you are is a dollar sign that they already have your monthly payment so the effort to provide you with the best service is non existent. Well, I was in dire need of a massage and needed one asap. All of the usual places I would consider were unable to get me in for a few days forcing me to take my chances with Massage Envy Beavercreek. My husband called and made me an appointment for 90minute hot stone massage with Nicole. Now, I have had hundreds of massages from some of the top resorts nationwide, ranging from the most basic massage to some of the more specialty types of massages so I have a decent bar of expectation when it comes to massages. When I left this facility I immediately called one of my best friends and told her that I literally just had, hands down, one of the best massages ever. I would most definitely recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a super relaxing amazing hot stone massage! I am glad I took my chances and will most definitely be seeing her again. read more

I am in town for a few days and needed some relief from muscle pain. I was able to get in only because of a cancellation. Well I was treated by Amy and she was amazing! She listened to what my needs were and met them and went beyond what I expected. It was apparent she was very experienced and knew what she was doing. I had been dealing with neck and shoulder pain for a couple weeks. Chiropractor didn't help, pain meds didn't help so my husband suggested I book a massage. I talk to the therapist and told her I really didn't care what she did just make me feel better. She worked my problem areas almost the entire time. Of course are asked if that was ok.....but she wanted to make sure she could get what I needed done. I feel so much better and even though the massage was a little more deep and not relaxing I've been so relaxed all day. I will for sure got back! read more

I wanted to write this while it is fresh in my mind...I had a massage today at 5pm- well I thought I did until my husband informed me that they called him and they had to cancel my massage. I thought it was pretty humorous that I hadn't received a call all day - I called them and they said my therapist was sick and they couldn't see me ( this was 30 minutes prior to my apt) - so they offered me a free enhancement on my next visit ( wow I have been a member for many years and you are going to offer my 10 dollars????) I make plenty of money that if I wanted to purchase this myself I would now im just insulted--so I rescheduled for tomorrow at 6pm however I asked for a call from the clinic manager the next day - so I get a call 5 minutes later saying they called the manager and they would offer me 10% off a massage I already paid for??? - if I didn't have banked massages I wouldn't go but im also not loosing my money- beware of the lack of customer service and the double standard they show- if I cancelled my apt the same day I would be charged a full massage however they seem to be able to do it and you get nothing in return- save your money, do your research and don't go to this one- the manager clearly doesn't value you nor staff appropriately I am updating my review because after this the owner contacted me and apologized for the service I received. He offered me a free massage and my massage therapist was much better this time around. read more

Very poor customer service in multiple occassions! The last straw was when recently they refused to provide all the services I paid for. Under the contract they will charge your card before rendering service. I travel quite a bit for work so evidently I fell behind on getting my massages. In any case, the right thing to do is allow for make-up sessions since the services have been pre-paid already! They refused to reimburse me nor did they agree to provide the massage owed! I do not recommend a company that is okay with keeping money without rendering a service! Massage Envy has an abysmal customer service policy and will go through lengths to keep your money without properly rectifying a valid complaint. With dozens of massage businesses in the area I recommend that you run away from this place! read more

I had a couples massage scheduled for my mother and I and was unable to go due to illness. I called and left a message and spent the rest of the weekend ill. I received a voicemail on Sunday amidst not feeling well and was told they didn't understand my message due to static on the line (an ongoing problem that has yet to be fixed I guess). My mistake in this was I did not call back because I wasn't feeling well. However, I received a phone call today that my credit card was being charged for my mother's service even though I told them when I originally scheduled that I was transferring a service of mine to her. When I called and requested that they take the money off of my card and transfer the service like it was supposed to be done, I was told they would discuss it with their manager and see if that was possible. Unbelievable. I also told them I wanted to cancel my membership and again was told the manager had to do this. I have about 7-8 services that I haven't used due to an injury that has kept me from getting them. So they aren't just happy with that money, they want to take more from me. Horrible service. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more
