My facial with Chloe was wonderful. I've had many facials and massages over the years and this was one of the best. Compared to other facials I've had at different Massage Envy locations, what made this one stand out was the comfortable contoured table, Chloe's technique, care, professionalism, and her respect for my preference of silence instead of discussing the products. They will send you all the documents needed to sign for termination of the contract but CONTINUE to charge your card MONTHS after having signed a cancellation contract. STAY AWAY!!!! This is not aimed at the therapists, rather the schizophrenic policies of ownership and management-- they insist on a mask in the lobby and hallway in an open space, but could care less about masks when you're in an enclosed room 1 foot away from your therapist. On one visit the general manager allowed me in, on another occasion the shift manager cancelled my appointment in the lobby and was rude. There are many other massage businesses that are not so rude, rigid or playing the mask-arade game with its patrons. read more

Good luck getting anyone to schedule you an appointment. Including this location... I will call 3 to 4 weeks advance and they will tell me that they are booked... My mom went in for a facial and was turned away due to her going through chemo. We understand that they have a policy regarding this, and had no problem with canceling the service. What we did have a problem with was the attitude of the woman who was supposed to do the facial. She made my mom feel like a freak and that she was in some way contagious. Man where do i start with this. I have had many many massages in my day. This is hands down the worst, most uncomfortable massage I've ever had. I waited a week to post a review bc i wasn't sure i even wanted to leave it. But i kept thinking abt it and decided to warn others before making an appt (at least w the masseuse i got). First of all, to be fair, i called the day of so i understand i was to get someone who wasn't booked regularly and he was the one who had availability the whole day (although it's weird bc he said he had been working there 7 years but was never booked up) - makes sense why now! First and foremost, when he greeted me i was taken aback by how disheveled he appeared. He led me back to a room and was coughing a brutal cough on the way in. Even w masks on, i was a little skeptical him touching me if he had a cough like that. I needed a massage badly though and decided to just suck it up. When he came back in after i undressed he asked if there were any specific parts he needed to concentrate on. Even on the paperwork i filled out i notes my feet and scalp bc that's what was hurting me. Well he chose not to listen at all but such is life i guess. Anyway he didn't use his hands once - just his forearms and elbows lol. And through the entire massage he was wheezing. It was beyond uncomfortable- i asked 3/4 into the massage if he was going to focus on what i asked and he didn't answer. I reminded him again and he got super irritated and seemed rly annoyed quite honestly. When he was finished he said "ok you're done" and walked out of the room. I was floored. I mentioned that my massage was a little strange to the gal at the front and she just looked at me w empty eyes and told me my masseuse recommended i come in every two weeks and asked me to sign up for a membership. Comedy at its best. This long review doesn't even do justice w how uncomfortable this was. To make matters ever more clutch, i got super sick after the massage. Highly don't recommend- plenty of better massage places nearby. read more

Bottom Line, Up Front: Marissa is a GODDESS. I've even a Massage Envy member since Oct 2010 and this is hands-down the best pain management massage I've ever received. I've been traveling for weeks, moving to a new location, and sleeping on air mattresses. That being said, my neck - which has given me persistent issues since I was a pre-teen - was a complete mess. Enter Marissa, who not only had my back and neck crackling like bubble wrap, she managed to find EVERY SINGLE hot spot and knot and work them until they were completely manageable. I wish I was in town longer so I could see her again, but alas... while I'm not completely pain-free, I'm spooooo much better than when I walked in (there's only so much she can do in 90 minutes). I recently had a massage with Cher. I can not say enough about how amazing the massage was. She listened to everything we discussed in the premassage interview. She was a consummate professional while she conducted the massage. She constantly asked if I needed more or less pressure. We discussed what I could do in between massages to stay loose and how often I should come back to see her. Cher's 18 years of massage experience were obvious throughout the entire experience. I have been to a few massage parlors and this is my first time at Massage Envy. The chair settings in the waiting room were very elegant and classy. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. We felt very relaxed waiting and listening to the hostess. It was our first time at this place and there were 3 of us. To begin, we were asked to fill out questionnaires about the reason for our visit either for pain, relaxation, health and wellness, etc. The questionnaire also includes the types of massages we are interested in and what region of the body to mainly focus on. As a student, I spend much of my time sitting and studying, so my main focus would be my neck, shoulders, and back. I also opted for the gluteal region (the butt area), which I have gotten done before. After we finished filing out the 2-page of questions, the same hostess comes out and ask us about our answers and suggested what she believes would work for our needs. I wanted the deep massage, while my sister and her sister-in-law received the medium massages. I was the first to go in and inside the rooms were separated into couples 2-bed rooms and individual one-bed rooms. My masseuse offer the use of the restroom prior to the session and also explaining to undress either everything except bottom undergarment or go completely without anything. Either ways you will be completely covered under the sheets and blanket, along with only exposing non-private regions. It was a very relaxing and therapeutic massage for me. With massages focusing on tension areas, stress points, and tight knots at the muscles, your body fluids can easily flow through those regions better. Your body works together to keep you healthy and having a full body massage can be more beneficial than harm. My masseuse eases small talks near the end and it was like sharing a little about each other to know more about one another. I liked that. After the 60-minute massage the masseuse leaves for me to dress, offers water once I have opened the door, and whether I needed to use the restroom. They were very hospitable here and I would not mind returning. Overall, I received a full body massage which included neck, shoulders, back, facial, scalp, legs, feet with sugar scrub and warm towel. It was invigorating and I had enjoyed every bit of it. For beginners and those who are easily ticklish try starting with light massages and regions where they are least ticklish. read more

I have been a member at ME for 10 years and it's always been good. This past year my appointments have been cancelled several times including twice this week. There are no appointments available to reschedule this month and basically I have to schedule out 2 months ahead to get an appointment. With that said, if you want to give them your money every month and not be able to schedule a appointment this is the place for you. The massages are always good but, good luck actually being able to get one. Also, they wont do anything to accommodate their cancellations which are the day of the appointment. Extremely disappointed. The massages are great...if you can get the massage therapists to show up to work. I understand that things happen, but, out of the 4 appointments that I've had over the last 4 months, 3 have been cancelled and rescheduled because the therapist was sick, hurt her back, or had a medical emergency. Two different therapists, too. After the first time, I rescheduled with a different therapist that I have had before. She is awesome. I signed up as a member before this appointment. The next time I had an appointment scheduled, I had to reschedule that day with a different therapist because mine hurt her back. I scheduled another appointment with the same one that originally cancelled on me the second time. Well, she called out again today. Now, when they call and confirm your appointment, they make sure to tell you to cancel ASAP so that you don't get charged for cancelling your appointment within 24 hours. But, what happens when they cancel on you on the same day? Nothing. No free services, upgrades, or anything like that is offered for your rescheduled appointment. I'm done with this place. read more

I have been receiving weekly massages since 1989 as well as interviewing therapists for my business in Atlanta. I retired several years ago however our business is still in operation. My point here is that I have received over 3,000 massages. I moved to Santa Rosa Beach in June of 2016. We went in for a couples massage as part of a pre birthday gift. I have mixed feelings on this location. I'll start with the good/positive: This location was very nice, clean, tranquil, front desk staff were pleasant. I would definitely visit this location again. Now onto the bad...when I made my appointment for a facial massage I had requested a female. A female was not presented when I arrived for my appointment. Not sure what happened, perhaps the person I was supposed to have called in sick or something. I decided that I would give the gentleman a try, but quickly changed my mind when I met him. His outward appearance was SO disheleved, all I can liken his appearance to is a dirty old man. I immediately left needless to say. Mistakes happen and again, I'll give this place the benefit of the doubt that perhaps the female originally assigned to me something came up. However, like I relayed to the owner; when you're receiving a facial &/or massage you're in a slightly vulnerable state as is and the appearance of this particular therapist was SO bad he lost my business. Visited this store while we were on vacation last week. We are Massage Envy members back home, and are used to the scheduling quirks, availability issues (sometimes) and the regular hoopla that goes along with trying to book multiple massages. We have been to this store in the past and had no issues, however this time it was headache from the jump. Took me 2 days to get 3 massages booked. Once we finally had them booked, we received a call that the therapist called in sick and we needed to re-book our massages. Being on vacation, in Florida, at the beach - you can imagine how frustrating that was. On the day of our appointments, I arrive with my own personal cup of ice water, which I accidentally forgot in the meditation room when the therapist came to get us for our couples massage. After our massage, I go straight back to the meditation room to get my cup, only to find out it was gone. Can't be found anywhere in the establishment. Kind of fishy how I had such a hard time with the staff leading up to our appointment, and then my cup goes missing while I'm there for a treatment. I can't stand a thief, and I certainly do not want to ever go back to an establishment where I don't feel safe and can't trust the staff and/or other clients with my basic belongings. The staff tried to find my cup, and I even had them check the cameras, with no luck finding anything. We have had great experiences in the past at this Massage Envy, however I am sad to say that we won't be going back here in the future. read more
