I received a gift card for my birthday and was excited to have my first ever massage! The location is clean and once you step back into the waiting area it has an extremely calming environment. My massage therapist was friendly and I explained that this was my first time so I'm unsure of what pressure I would need and we decided on a medium pressure. I do feel like at times the pressure varies from light to deep, so deep that I left sore in my back. The transition between positions was seemless, which made me very comfortable. I did feel rushed at the end though. He explained that I could take my time laying on the table and getting dressed, but that he'd be outside waiting for me to leave so I felt like I couldn't take THAT long to relax. I would've preferred him to let me know how to exit and tell me to leave the door open when I left. read more

My husband drove 45 minutes for a massage today which he had confirmed the appointment for. When he arrived someone had canceled his appointment and booked someone in his place. He has had 4 previous cancellations in the last 6 months because they didn't have a therapist available. At least they had the decency to call those times. This place does all it can to be safe and comply with the rules and at the same time be a massage therapy center. I feel comfortable going in. They are very professional and polite. In the rooms they are extra careful. My therapist (I am not sharing as she already is hard to get to see, cause she is good) has really helped my wife and I relief from working at home neck and shoulders. My sciatic flares. I limp in and walk out. We talk to others in the waiting area and they all have their favorites. Be honest when you call for your appointment as to what you want. Relaxing or WWE elbows in the back. They can recommend a person for you. Parking is huge. Ok.. I was a massage newbie. I wear tighter long boxers and I swear my therapist has never seen them. They move the sheets so well that you just relax. I go monthly or more when really hurting from too much pickleball and computer work. They only lightly up sell and do not pressure. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! Everything was great from the time I walked in. Very clean receptionist area. The tranquility room very calmed and relaxing making me feel "warmed up" for the session. Aline the kind receptionist mentioned there was some tea for customers over there. My therapist was awesome, and made me feel welcome. I slept over my session. I've been to many other massage places and this one is for sure the best one I've been so far. Massages have been good since I started my membership about 7 months ago with the exception of 1 or 2. My biggest problem is I never receive my full 50 min . The one facial I've gotten was more of a face wash there was no massaging no steam just slap the soap on rub it off. Will be canceling my membership. read more

Tried to force me to release HIPAA protected information then when I declined to answer they said I have to. I responded no I don't and stated why legally. I received a gift card for this place and was excited. I have massages somewhat often. We recently moved 2 hours from where my last massage place was, so I was excited to check this place out. The last massage place was so amazing. They provided robes and slippers. You sit in a relaxing room with plenty of refreshments, music, neck warmers, etc. This place, you sit in waiting room, change in the massage room, can hear others throughout your massage. Just not as great whatsoever, no comparison. I'd rather drive 2 hours away then go back here. I received a full body massage from Patrick. Started late, ended early. He did not communicate much with me. When finished he asked if I wanted water and left. Usually they say our session has ended, I hope you enjoyed your massage, asked what I liked or did not like about the session to note for next time. He didn't treat me like a client, but like a job. Once checking out the front desk suckered me into a membership. I would receive a discount for today's services. It would be $60 a month which provides you with an hour of services included. You would never lose the monthly service, it would just roll over. Sounds awesome, ok. I could get a facial or a different massage therapist next time I thought. The lady read the rules very quickly and I signed on the IPad. I had no time to read it. They gave me a pamphlet to leave with. It says it's a 12 month contract. I do NOT do contracts! Tried calling to cancel, but they refused. The lady NEVER told me there was a contract!!! I will cancel my credit card and let everyone know how they are about money and not providing to their clients! I have work as a fitness trainer and personal trainer through the years. I have had my share of massages. Many of the therapists I have encountered were more of the "oh, ahh", check out the ambiance and not the kind that truly worked on your problems or troubled area. I have to say that Jeff at Hixson ME was the best. I was recovering from a fairly serious skiing accident and had little use of my shoulder. After two visits I am as good as new!! My husband bought me a three month membership for Xmas.It was May before I could get in because of illness so they extended it a month I made a massage appt. for myself and my daughter the massage therapist was great but when we were done I was informed that I had to pay ten dollars each for the little bottles of lotion that they used on us. I go in two weeks later and I was told my membership had expired so all I received was two massages for three hundred dollars..So I will not recommend this place..I don't think they care if they have clients or not..Kathy S. read more

First off, let me say that this review is all for one of the therapists, Jedadiah Stewart. I saw him at the end of October 2015 and almost forgot to post a review, which would be a sad injustice to him. No, I am not related to him or even a friend of his...I simply feel that credit should be given when due. I rarely give 5 stars for anything as I save that for the very best and let me tell you, one month plus after my treatment I am still convinced he deserves that. I am not a big fan of massage envy but because I got suckered into a membership...I had to use my remaining credit treatments on our drive across country. That being said, I am so very glad I went to this location and found Jedadiah, I only wish this was the town I lived in. I have had many massage treatments and have to say that Jedadiah is one of, if not the best therapists I have seen. He is very knowledgeable and found all my trouble spots (without me telling him) and that I always hope other therapists find BUT never do. Very impressed at his work and would see him regularly if I lived there. read more
