Unfortunately, my recent couples massage was not great. From the beginning, one of the therapists in the room was texting. We could both hear the iPhone message sound going off of her sending messages in the beginning of the massage, which immediately took away from the relaxing atmosphere. During my massage, my therapist never worked on my feet, front of my legs, which felt unusual and inconsistent as it is a full body massage and because my boyfriend's therapist did include those areas in his massage. Also, $10 each for aromatherapy oil (lavender) not used... neither of us smelled like it and I get lavender oil every time and could smell it last time. The overall quality of my massage felt sloppy compared to my first visit. It was mostly repetitive pressure in the same spots over and over, with none of the deep tissue work I experienced previously. It did not feel therapeutic or relaxing like my first appointment. I'll stick with the other massage therapist.

I didn't feel rushed. Ivy understood my preferences which was surprising. Usually Chinese spas have a language barrier but here they understand everything.
