We had been there once before quite some time ago, and this visit reminded us why we liked it so much. The prices are very competitive, especially for the quality of service you receive. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and incredibly relaxing from the moment we walked in. The massage therapists were excellent, they instinctively knew exactly what I needed. They used just the right amount of pressure and worked through a tremendous amount of tension in my shoulders and neck. I tend to carry stress for long periods of time and live in a constant "fight or flight" mode, so when someone truly works out those deep knots and helps your body relax, it can almost feel like a shock to your system. I was a little nauseous afterward, but that's completely normal when you release that much built-up tension. After a carb-heavy, high-protein meal with a little sodium, I felt much better. The next morning I'm definitely sore, but again, that's expected when you've been holding onto that much tightness. What matters most is that I feel lighter, both physically and emotionally. My circulation feels better, the tension is gone, and I genuinely feel like a heavy burden has been lifted off my shoulders. My husband and I absolutely plan to return regularly. During my massage, my therapist never worked on my feet, front of my legs, which felt unusual and inconsistent as it is a full body massage and because my boyfriend's therapist did include those areas in his massage. Also, $10 each for aromatherapy oil (lavender) not used... neither of us smelled like it and I get lavender oil every time and could smell it last time. The overall quality of my massage felt sloppy compared to my first visit. It was mostly repetitive pressure in the same spots over and over, with none of the deep tissue work I experienced previously. It did not feel therapeutic or relaxing like my first appointment. My favorite massage is the combo: 30 minutes reflexology (which includes a scalp and facial massage), and 30 minutes full body. Reflexology and facial massage can help with sinuses. This time, because I was in serious pain, I did the 90-minute combo for $85. Ooooooh. Owwww. The reflexology was wonderful and relaxing--the facial and scalp massage are done while your feet soak in a bucket of hot water--but the bodywork is INTENSE. My pain was mostly concentrated between my shoulder blades, and lower back. Like all Asian massages for pain, the process is painful. The therapist used her elbows on the knots in my shoulders. She found and kneaded out areas of tension. The massage finishes up with hot stones and a wipe with a warm towel to remove the oil. I'll admit that I was kind of happy when it was over, lol. But when it was, I felt SO much better!! I love this place. I hadn't been here in years (Coco Massage, their sister spa, is closer to my house), but they remembered me!

There were parts of the massage that were nice but half the time I felt tortured and internal screaming. And now I am up in the middle of the night due to this massage.
