I was told I could come in for a free exam, but once I arrived, I received only a few minutes with the doctor before being asked to pay a new-patient fee. During that first visit, I explained that my insurance required a preauthorization from the doctor before an MRI could be approved. I even called my insurance company while I was there to confirm the process and relayed that information directly to the office. On my second visit, I was presented with a treatment plan that would cost around $1,000 out of pocket, without any meaningful discussion with the doctor beforehand. It felt like the focus was on selling a treatment plan rather than addressing my concerns. The doctor doesn't take the time to identify your issue before delivering a treatment plan! . After three weeks of treatment with no improvement, I followed up about the MRI authorization. I called first thing in the morning and was told I would receive a call back as soon as the doctor arrived. By 4 PM, I still had not heard anything, so I called again. The woman who answered the phone seemed annoyed that I was asking about something I had already discussed with the office from day one. Instead of helping me, she was rude and ultimately hung up on me. My biggest frustration is that I took the time to understand my insurance requirements, spoke directly with my insurance company, and clearly explained everything the office needed to do. Despite that, the office never followed through on the required authorization process and acted as if the information had never been provided. The office staff member acted as if she had the authority to make medical decisions and speak on behalf of the doctor, which was incredibly frustrating. Simply I wasn't looking for guesses, opinions, or an over-the-phone diagnosis--I needed answers directly from the doctor regarding my care and MRI authorization. Instead, I was met with arrogance, dismissive behavior, and a complete lack of professionalism. This practice was a nightmare to deal with. The disorganization, poor communication, and unacceptable treatment of patients raise serious concerns about how the office is run. Based on my experience, I believe this practice should be reported to the Better Business Bureau and the appropriate professional oversight organizations. Stay away!!!!!!
