I am a new customer to Massey, referred by a neighbor. Presently using pest control and lawn care. I requested to be called prior to any visit and they adhere to my request. Both technicians are superb, professional and friendly. Yesterday I had the second lawn treatment by Chris Coburn. He took the time to explain a new weed(s) to my lawn, verified by an app. he had. He explained how they can be managed and rid of. Customer service has always been good. I am encouraged that this will continued. read more

3 years of cinch bug problems. Apparently no one knows how to eliminate cinch bugs. They replaced a section of lawn last year, and lost it to cinch bugs this year. They keep promising to kill the cinch bugs and replace the dead areas. I am still waiting!!! Mark Moran read more

they are consistently inconsistent. They screw you over if you don't get service every week. I do not recommend. They don't keep track of their agents who come and do the lawn treatments and the agents who are supposed to be doing your weekly or biweekly monthly services. Don't do their job. And then when your yard is decimated by bugs, they send over the some lady who's hired to be the big bit cha and she comes and says well because you didn't pay us for THIS service. We can't fix it. Why the hell would anyone have them anyway if they're not gonna do what they're supposed to do. Find yourself a local guy who knows what's up who's worked for a bug service and ask them to treat your lawn. Massey doesn't need you as a customer. Way overpriced. I called after they came twice to cancel my service. I dealt with three rude people when I was incredibly professional and nice. The last person was a manager that hung up on me. I would never recommend this company. When they came the two times they never called or gave notice. Also they wiped spider webs and placed a few bug traps. Easily can save money and don't go with them! read more

We used Massey to spray and get rid of bugs bugs .. we had a super guy named Xavier.. always nice and if we had any issues, he fixed them !!

I hired Massey Services to take care of my lawn because I thought they were one of the best lawn services. The best thing about Massey is their marketing!.....I had some damage on my lawn in one small area from chinch bugs and Massey said they treated the area.....a few weeks went by and the damage to my lawn had gotten worse......I called Massey's office several times over a three week period to have a manager come and assess my lawn and to take care of the issue.....I heard NOTHING from the company.....needless to say, my lawn was being destroyed by the chinch bugs and my "top rated" lawn service did nothing about it!.....My biggest problem with Massey Services is NOT what they did....it's what they DIDN'T do!......so now I get to replace my lawn $$$$.......The Customer Service at Massey Services is horrific!.......and their Techs are not much better!.......If you value your lawn you will be better served to go elsewhere! read more

Hired Massey Services at nearly double the price I was paying the existing company I was using which was Citrus Pest Control. I had high expectations. Massey promised a laundry list of 14 services they would perform to fix all the issues their inspector/salesman found with my lawn. When the technician came out I wasn't home. They left no report of what they did. I was able to go online and see the report the technician wrote up. He basically fertilized the lawn. The initial inspector/salesman was raving about the fungus in my yard yet no fungus control was done. They promised PH testing of the soil, this was not done. They promised aeration, this was not done. The list goes on. I called the corporate office and cancelled my service. They took my cancellation notice and said the service manager would contact me. Well that never happened. I called the local branch and spoke to the office manager. He blamed his technicians and and said he would come out himself. This never happened. A few days later a technician shows up at my house to treat my lawn. I told him I had cancelled and sent him on his way. He said his manager would be contacting me. That never happened. Today when I came home from work there was a Massey sign in my yard. They had come and sprayed my lawn while I was gone. When I called the local branch I was told that there was no cancellation in the computer and I needed to cancel by certified mail 30 days in advance. The woman I spoke with said she was cancelling my services but I went straight to the post office and sent a certified letter to the corporate office. Hiring Massey was the most costly mistake of 2025 for me. Don't be fooled by their promises like I was. They are no better than any of the other companies out there and possibly the worst. For a couple of years their service was adequate, this last year it's been horrible, sprayed my house with fertilizer. Then I asked several times to habe them clean up after themselves. I had just had my house painted a mint green so it showed up. It's stained the same cor as the stains on theor trucks. Then after 8born9 months of asking I finally lost my cool and rold a tech to send out someone to clean my house. He showed up, sorry I am out of the rust remover, then tried to blame grass monkey for spraying my house. I told him I've only used Massey for my lawn care needs since I spent a lot of money on the st augustine grass They spot treated my yard for weeds killing a dozen places, tried to blame me for that. They probably blame me for tye rust color on my mi t green house they just habe not come right out and accused me of it. I habe been on himenoxygen for 2 years and only on certain days can I make itnout to the mailbox without any trouble, so I surely don't go out in the heat n humidity to spray anything. I guess there is another step but I am waiting in another lie from them before I take further action. The ine guy showed up a week ago then soon as he got out if his vehicle, well I've run out if the rust remover to clean your house I just used it up on another house. So I am not rhe only house they habe sprayed n needed to clean, he said he be back in an hour n never showed up, I called fhe office rhey said he would be out Friday, he never showed up, Lies I can't stand them and now I think I've given them 3 strikes I should take my business elsewhere, but I hate change but I hate liars even more n they are that fir sure LIARS​​ read more

Massey lawn services Brooksville is a joke. I kept them 9 months of a 12 month contract. Every month my yard looked like crap. Called the office. They chewed me out. A month later a technician came by and said my yard was eat up with chinch bugs. As we talked he told me the guy assigned to my yard and many others hadn't gotten out of the truck for 6 months. No treatments at all. Of course I fired them. When I went to the office to fire I heard a guy screaming In the back. The only word he knew was the F word. Whatever you do don't hire these people. You might as well just flush your money down a toilet. read more

After paying for a year of service upfront our lawn is worse now than before we started! Lawn is full of Web worms, chinch bugs, fire ants as well as weeds. We do not recommend!! read more

Terrible customer service if I could put 0 stars I would ...... I called Massey as I was having a pool built to come out and check for any sprinkler lines in my back yard. They came out and we checked and I told the guy I was pretty sure their were lines that ran to some trees in my back yard so he continued to check and turned all my zones and said there definitely was none in the back. So being I thought they were a great company so far with us being with them I trusted his expert opinion and boy was he wrong. We customized our pool with the information he gave me and while the pool company was digging the hole they hit 3 lines that were together and branched out. So I called Massey and I talked to at least 4 different people who said someone would be out and they would pass my info to the correct person to set it up...... well the Monday they said the service tech would be there I called to confirm and they had no idea. The very polite lady said the general manager would call me within the hour..... after about 8 hours he called and pretty much said " well our guys aren't trained to find lines under ground that he was probably looking for sprinkler heads and he probably didn't understand what I was telling him" , and " well they never charged me to come out " which I was willing to pay, and " well when the pool guys were digging did they not see the lines" I guess a guy and a huge tractor with a boom shovel was supposed to see them before hitting them, and " I don't know what we can do in this situation as we aren't in the field of running sprinkler line", well we wouldn't need to have new lines if I was told that they couldn't find the lines underground when I called them out, I would have used that info and found someone who could. So after all that he proceeded to tell me they could send someone out to give me an estimate to run new lines. It just doesn't add up..... lesson learned as we really liked the way our lawn looks while they were our service providers, but the way the general manager wouldn't own up to their mistake and pretty much said I'm on my own to fix the mistake his service tech made, I've decided to take my business elsewhere...... $95 a month isn't cheap but to have a great yard and a company who values us is important. I hired Massey to address several tasks, including fixing my sprinklers (raising some of them), repairing or replacing the backflow system, and resodding the front lawn. When the technician arrived, he arrived without any tools to fix the sprinklers. He was able to get them working, but wasn't able to raise them or readjust the direction of the sprinkler. He assured me they would return to finish the job. Meanwhile, the sod installation team arrived and started killing the existing grass. A week went by without any communication from the technician, and the sod team proceeded to lay the new sod directly over my sprinklers. After several phone calls, the technician finally returned and raised some of the sprinkler heads. However, the one I specifically emphasized remained untouched. Additionally, there was a dispute about the backflow system. Massey claimed it was not part of the agreement, but I couldn't verify this as the handwriting on the agreement was illegible. Lastly, the inspector had mentioned that Massey was supposed to treat the grass after the entire job was completed, but they never showed up. My overall experience with Massey Services was extremely disappointing. There was a severe lack of coordination between the technician and the sod installation team, and the job was left incomplete in my opinion. read more

Very poor management. The new manager of the Brooksville office is very difficult to work with. The company is phenomenal. The technicians are incredibly knowledgeable, but unfortunately customer service in the branch false short from the rest of the companies due to the office general manager customer service techniques. read more

I would like to update the last review which was a one star. On Friday the 19th the general manager called and was very nice I was wrong I miss understood the invoice thought I was being over charged but after taking a closer look at the invoice it was a fair price and owe Massey irrigation an apology. read more

the technician named zachery serviced my sprinkler system today. his knowledge and professionalism deserves noting and i give him a 5 star rating all categories customer service and knowledge of his craft. as final note he should be rewarded when his next employee review comes with an increase in wages. read more

A sprinkler head broke and I didn't want to go too long without watering some new landscaping. I called Massey and they were able to fit me in that same day. Gerry came out and fixed it right away. I was not expecting such fast service. read more

Last Saturday I wrote a negative review due to a missed inspection appointment and lack of communication. I have since deleted it. This was due to the customer recovery experience with their General Manager. He contacted me shortly after the issue occurred. After listening to my concerns, he offered a resolution to keep me as a customer. I understand that issues occur in the service industry. He was genuinely concerned and made it right. Contracted to replace lawn (front, back snd both sides) and very sorry I did. GM said he could save me some money by not replacing one side of house....which appeared to him as healthy. Dummy me, not doing my homework first, agreed with him. What a shame. That side is now absolutely full of weeds. When I phoned, I was told they couldn't spray for weeds but once every 3 weeks. Those weeds are infiltrating new sod laid down. A tech came out and measured area but that was over a week ago and I've not heard from GM as to whether they'll respray or replace. The front and back yards were done in a hurry; hence extremely lumpy. Massey will not roll new sod to level out. Story goes on and on. My concern with the thousands of dollars I spent on my yard was a waste of money. My warning to everyone.....get bids/quotes from at least 3 companies before spending big bucks with Massey. I've still one spot up front that is sodless going on 6 weeks now. Hmmmmm. read more

This company sucks. We have signs on our door that say no solicitation and live in a subdivision that has signs posted that say no solicitation. This company still has its people come and knock on the door. I called in and asked to be removed from their list and they refused. Everyone on our block that used them has fired them for over charging and not showing up. read more
