I highly recommend Massive for auto body work. For my visit yesterday, I came to get my trunk realigned, as it had gotten messed up from an overloaded bike rack. Tony took a look and made some quick adjustments, and 7 mins later he was done and didn't want to charge me for that. If there's an issue with something he won't stop until it's solved properly! Car collision experts and mechanics are generally gearheads. They look like they can bench press the cars they work on without breaking a sweat. Most of them are in a position to sell you $200 Johnson rods or hamster clamps or what have you. The average person has no idea how their cars run (me included). Honesty and fairness seem to rule in this industry, and that's why I went to Massive Auto Collision only on a friend's referral. Tony, the owner/operator looks intimidating (see bench press reference) but I left this place with a renewed trust in auto body and mechanic shops! Without getting into too much detail, Tony had one look at my car, knew what was wrong, and took the time immediately to fix it. I recently had the privilege of working with Tony on my BMW 435i. He was a man of his word and squeezed me in on a Saturday morning to help install a rear diffuser on my bumper. Originally it was thought to be a quick install but after looking at the new rear diffuser we realized there was electrical than needed to be uninstalled and the complete bumper needed to be removed. I was expecting Tony to tell me it was to complicated like 2 other body shops had already told me but he didn't. As the project continued more issues came up that required new holes to be drilled, parts to be sawed down in size etc. I could tell by the way he worked that he knew what he was doing and looked at each challenge as a fun problem that he could solve. Tony definitely enjoys working on cars which makes it easier for the customer to feel comfortable when handing over their cars. I would definitely go back there if I ever need body work done on my cars. Tony encompassed everything I look for in a body shop. I called Massive Auto Collision about my car window that wouldn't go up. Despite being booked up, they were empathetic to my situation of having an open window in winter. They quoted me possible best and worst case scenarios and looked at the car within minutes of my arrival. I was expecting a temporary patch job but was pleasantly surprised to have the window function restored within 20mins, despite a broken part. New customer for life. I came in with damage to the rear of my vehicle (the rear bumper and side panel had been pulled apart), which I was quoted over $1,800 to fix (the lowest of 3 estimates). It would have involved new parts over 3 components of the car. Tony took a quick look at it, and using 2 screws and a little bit of glue, made the vehicle new again. Not kidding! I made an appointment to get a "rub" from a parking garage post looked at and a free estimate. The technician looked at the spot and said that it should come right off. He spent a good 45 minutes "cleaning" the spot and got the paint transfer off pretty much completely! Then he didn't charge me a cent! Amazing. He said if I wanted to replace the part it would cost about $75 for the part and not much for the time because it was an easy fix, however, since it was on a plastic piece he wouldn't worry about it because it won't rust. I brought my Mitsubishi Lancer in a few weeks ago. My trunk of my car wouldn't close properly and my front fender was coming off.
