Hands down the best Japanese restaurant in Fort St. John. Sashimi is very fresh. John also offers Shabu Shabu, and nebayaki udon that no one else here offers. Highly recommend! read more

A nice fancy sort of restaurant. But I feel you pay for the decor... The sushi is over priced and not on par with the Q-Spot down the street.. The dish I had the rice tasted cold and bland like a Safeway deli plastic wrapped tray. And I paid almost 30.00 for the whole meal with tip. Won't be back. read more

Good clean food. Love the caterpillar! The waitress gave us a sample of Salmon deep fried and it was really good! Decor was not really fancy. They certainly have lots of fresh hand made food with the open kitchen on display. read more

The best restaurant in Fort St John. I have been eating in this restaurant almost every day and I have tried most of their dishes. They always have fresh selection of sashimi which I really love. read more

Excellent cuts, surprisingly fresh (since its in northern bc) not the best atmosphere but the sashimi is terrific... The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because they had no Saba (mackerel) I would definitely recommend this to smaller groups read more

I walked in at lunch and found the place to be pretty full. I usually take at as a good sign. There was no table service, which I found odd for a sit down cafe but I looked at the wall menu and trudged on. I ordered a couple rolls, pretty typical stuff; spicy tuna, dynamite roll, Philadelphia roll. I don't like smoked salmon which was on top of the Philly roll with cream cheese, cucumber and salmon inside. When I asked to have regular salmon on the top instead of smoked salmon I was told it would be an extra $3.00. Although it was a little odd, I said ok. The spicy tuna was really spicy and pretty good. The salmon in the Philly roll was Atlantic which I don't care for. I much prefer Sockeye, but the roll was ok. The dynamite was full of fake crab but reasonably good. All the rolls were very loose and they fell apart making them hard to eat but the flavour was ok. All in all it was pretty good considering that I'm having sushi in Ft. St. John BC. If you're craving sushi it's a decent place to stop. read more

It was your typical sushi bar. But the difference was, their food was overpriced and the service wasn't friendly. Their chicken and beef for the terryaki plate and roll is always burnt. Not the ideal place to eat also because of the place, it is at vehicles going by on Main Street. it's a popular choice for some reason and that means its crowded most of the time. My review is short like the star rating I have this sushi place for these reasons. read more

Great food and good customer service. But they were out of stock of a lot of beverages. Can't wait to eat in there. On their website it does say delivery but it is only take out. read more

It's generally not busy which allows food to be served to your table within 5-10 minutes. The restaurant itself could use a renovation specifically from chairs and tables to more modern booths. Although there is already a warm ambience. The sushi appears to be professionally made with attention to detail. There was generous servings of seafood which makes it worth the money you pay. The seafood appeared to be surprisingly fresh given the distance from any body of water. Very flavourful and delicious!
