This was one of the highly recommended vegan restaurants to visit in Prague, so I decided to take…read moreone of my vegan friends along for lunch yesterday. He and I ordered the traditional potato dumplings with "ham" with red sweet and sour cabbage, demi glace, and fried onion. I liked how their potato dumplings were stuffed, because I've come across several "Czech dumplings" that were simply pieces of soft bread --not to hate on them, but it only felt unusual to me because I'm used to stuffed dumplings from Asia. My partner ordered a sushi bowl with marinated tofu, cucumber, edamame, seaweed, pickled ginger, sesame, onion, and yellow daikon. It was nothing special, but it was certainly filling with heaping amount of sushi rice.
The only downside was that despite it being a less hot day, the store was super hot and humid. We went downstairs to hide from the heat, but all of us were basically drenched in sweat by the time we finished our meal. Obviously, this isn't something that they should be responsible for, as they probably did not need any sort of AC at the time this building/establishment was built, but it's certainly something to keep in mind as a customer especially if you're planning to visit in the summer time!
