Horrible phone service NO HELP AT ALL. Always transferring you to someone new and never resolve the issue. I ask one thing and get three different answers from 3 different people. Not professional over the phone always having personal conversations when they think you are on hold. My job uses this business and honestly I will be looking for another company we can go with. We hired this company to do annual fitness sprinkler inspections. Everything started out fine and had a nice relationship with the company but towards the end of the contract they didn't complete all of the inspections, never replied to any emails, and ran off with our keys. Now we have outstanding inspections to answer to! AVOID. read more

So this company installed an ancil system 2-3 years ago in our restaurant. After calling Masterfire and explaining to them that that the tank wasn't properly installed and that there were no anchors to hold the 250 pound tank up, I was told that I would have to have it remounted for $300. If it was negligently installed in the first place, why should I be charged? There were no anchors installed! They provided no options and was quite rude. The manager didn't even want to speak with me on the phone. I'm opening 3 more restaurants this year and MasterFire will never get another piece of my business. I'll gladly pay the next company to fix this mess. At least now I know what kind of company MasterFire truly is....not committed to their work. Totally unreliable. I was in a bind and needed an inspection ASAP. So I made an appointment, confirmed appointment the day before, next day they don't show up and when I called they tell me they have no record of the appointment. Meanwhile I had the insurance inspector coming the next day...really put me in a bad position. Ended up calling another company. read more

Mr Peter Martinez president of this company didn't respond back to my calls and it has been 6 months. I had to go to court by the fire department because of their lax services. They take 3 grand from your before they start but will take a whole year to even start the process. Seriously anyone who would even think of using this company go somewhere else. A simple project was ruined by Master Fire Prevention. The employees were so unprofessional and unhelpful. Every time I contact the office to get a hold of someone, I am told that they are out for lunch and they never call back. The service is so terrible and a waste of money. They do not get the job done and its been one year and our project has still not been approved. Our project was not successful even after four attempts. I had no choice but to find another company and I went with Fire Command in Long Island whom got the job done in one month. If you are looking for a company to service your Sprinkler System, Do NOT choose Master Fire Prevention. Needless to say that we received a FDNY violation because they had never tested a Water Motor Gong and it failed on the test (simply because of corrosion and dirt inside). I tried to contact them for more than 2 weeks to schedule a repair (for a separate fee, of course). They never contacted our building despite my numerous calls and e-mails. They do not respect their customers, and we did not renew our contract with them. read more

Useless, aggressive, unprofessional phone support. They'll call non-stop even after you tell them you found another provider.

This is a warning to other business owners. Don't do business with Master fire, find another company. Their prices are high, they lie about the work they are doing, equipment they are installing, and they are terrible at paper work and following up on your account which cause unwarranted delays. They wasted so much of our time on our project, very frustrating, and so unnecessary. I know there aren't many companies in this field but find another way to vent, we spent several months of headaches and many thousands of dollars later and they still screwed up our job. Buyer beware- they don't document anything, so if you work with them, be prepared to be screwed over they don't keep any records. read more

Recently we had work done to complete a new hood and fire system for our store because ours was outdated. They were recommended to us by a local in the neighborhood and we trusted the referral but were we wrong!!! They are THE WORST Company I have ever used. They are RUDE, MONEY HUNGRY and are not good at following up. ALL they wanted was the money check which they should have received AFTER COMPLETING the work but they refused to finish the job and requested the bill paid in full. They did not do as the contract stated and just wanted money. We refused to pay them the balance since the work was not finished as stated in the contract. Instead of coming to meet with us to go over what was stated in the contract and talk out the issues Peter Martinez instructed his worked to remove the mushroom vents and boarded up the hood ventilation system so we could not open for business for 2 days OUT OF SPITE. How is that even humanely possible? That just encourages his workers bad work ethics. They are the most disgusting vile contractors that I have ever worked with. We called Peter and they refused to come back unless we paid them in FULL for a job they did not finish. Low and behold after the hood and ventilation system was put back they "FORGOT" to put back the fire extinguisher...Who in this world is that stupid? If you're PAID IN FULL and HAVE THE MONEY why cant they do the job correctly without coming back 5 times more? DO NOT EVER USE THEM! For some one who's in the business of fire prevention services how do you FORGET to add back the FIRE EXTINGUISHER? I will never use them nor recommend them to anyone. I will post them on my church awning in yonkers for everyone to see. They are despicable. Especially since they are immigrants themselves employing immigrants you would think that they would have the decency to treat other store owners of immigrant decent with some respect.
