And the main reason we wont let our child participate in recitals / parades, etc., is bc she's not that GOOD! YET!!! But recitals n stuff is a scam to just get more money out of you! But the straw that broke the camel's back is coming right off Thanksgiving they shoved a pack of raffle tickets in my face neatly wrapped with my childs name on it - I asked what if we don't want to participate in that (SCAM) the unprofessional said you have to pay $50. You already know - DECLINE!!!! Next class the coach only let my child practice a few routines. Towards the end the coach left my child standing in line waiting for her turn. The ignored my baby! Finally, my child just left and got her STICKER and belongings and we left. After I witnessed that as I watched from outside through the glass window, I decided to finish the course and w/draw my child. There is no way I will allow them to bully my child ALL bc I declined to sell or pay them $50 for some RAFFLE TICKETS!!! So this Wednesday, they paid my child no attention ! My baby got little practice and was told the training was for kids in the parade (which the coach denied saying it when I confronted her about it). But this week not only did the coach limit my child practice she wudnt even let her get a STICKER - NOPE! THE COACH TOOK THE STICKERS AND STARTED TAPPING MY CHILD ON HER HEAD WITH THEM!!!!! So no I wudnt recommend!

So I love Groupon and I'm always looking for things that my sisters and I can enjoy here in Atlanta. I came across a deal for the Brush Up and Wine Down. Very reasonable for 2 people and a few hours of fun! We arrived and we're greeted by all the ladies eagerly waiting to paint. It was set up outside and it was a very nice day which was perfect. They had music and Wine to enjoy. All the art supplies were provided. Great Hostess. You are given a plain canvas that has a stencil that has the item you are going paint outlined. Now it's time to paint. At the end we take pictures and get to take our masterpieces home. Lol. We all took our time mixing and matching colors, laughing, talking, and sipping wine. All in all - Very fun for a girls day. I will definitely do this again.

Center Stage has a really cool atmosphere that works especially well for an event like boxing. It feels intimate enough that you're close to everything happening, but still has the professional feel you want for a major media event. From a media perspective, I appreciated being able to experience the venue on back-to-back days and see how well the space transitioned between Media Day and the weigh-ins. The staff was welcoming and professional, and everything felt organized throughout both visits. With fighters, trainers, promoters, photographers, videographers, media, and guests all moving around, organization can make a huge difference, and the venue handled the activity well. I also really liked the character of the theater itself. It doesn't feel like a generic event space--it has its own personality and creates a great backdrop for photos and video, especially during something as energetic as a boxing weigh-in. One tip I would definitely give anyone planning to visit is to check the parking apps before paying at the kiosks. I was able to find parking for $21 for the entire day through an app, while paying directly through the parking kiosk was $14 for only three hours. If you're going to be at Center Stage for several hours, especially for an event, using a parking app can save you quite a bit of money and keep you from having to worry about your time running out. Being there for the Claressa Shields vs. Kaye Scott Media Day and weigh-ins gave me the opportunity to experience Center Stage Theater in a completely different way, and I came away impressed. But in my opinion the prices are in the order of a first class tickets. There is also outer area with different planes and also the 747 that you can get to experiment inside and out. Entering the parking lot, you are greeted by two large planes and its tempting to stop and gawk but you'll have a chance to later. Mid-day Thursday, the museum was pretty empty so it was easy to look at and interact with all the exhibits. The first room plays a relatively quick video before opening up the the Legacy Hangar with a couple plans and a children's area. There is an interactive game for plane control signals that was fun! Moving on to the next space is a hall of different types and brands of planes that Delta uses or have used, neat to see them all in one place. The next hangar, Spirit Hangar, has a large B-767 plane, "The Spirit of Delta". Surrounding the plane is about destinations, delta luggage and uniforms through the year, acquisitions, and the flight simulator. It is cool to be able to be up close to such a large plane see the wheels and mechanisms underneath. Up on the mezzanine is where you go through a jet bridge and into the plane to see a little bit of what it was like and learn about the history of the plane. It is full of memorabilia that were fitting during the planes time. After the inside tour we went out to the 747 experience. About half of the aircraft seats are still in tact, and it is cool to interact with the various different types of cabins. There is a cut away of under the plane to see how it is constructed and various exhibits about the plane and moving it to the museum. Outside the plane you can walk up close and personal with the underside of the plane and other planes on site, including a DC-9, B-757, and DC-7B. It was a great spot to visit, the museum gift shop is stocked with a variety of Delta and aviation gifts and clothes. I would recommend to anyone with an aviation or Delta interest.
