The Beltline Studio - Opening night at The Beltline Studio where artists selected one of several themes to paint.

Came for a department Christmas activity and boy am I glad we did. A night of fun, laughs, wine…read moreand beautiful art. I've been to few of these sip and paints but this one is my favorite. The music created a great ambiance and the instructor was attentive and helpful. I think this is the best picture I've ever done. Our team really enjoyed ourselves. And what a neat location. The mascot is super adorable . This would be amazing for date night or just fun with friends

At first I thought wow this is really pricey but after arriving at The Beltline Studio, I was…read moreamazed with the ambiance. The friendliness of our host Janica and her patience as she gave each of us our own personal lessons on how to make our painting Amazing. I normally feel stressed when I go to sip and paints but that was not the case this time. I felt at ease with Janica and she really made me feel like I was doing a great job making my painting my own. She never rushed us as I was prob the last person of our group to finish. I would definitely recommend this over any paint studio I've been to over the years. Price doesn't matter when you feel this welcomed and catered to and the best part is picking a painting that you want to paint vs the other places where everyone is doing the same 1 or 2 options. I didn't have an issue with parking. I got a good space near the entrance. Also Janica took pictures throughout the evening of everyone from start to finish. She really made my Godsister LaRhonda's Bday one to remember!

Stop your search here - you've found the best painting party destination in the Atlanta area!…read more I coordinated with Painting with a Twist to host my boyfriend's birthday party. They easily accommodated a party of 18, with flawless communication in advance, a very comfortable set-up, and games and music interspersed with the painting. Note that this studio is BYOB, but we brought in multiple coolers with beer and wine, snacks, etc. and they even handled clean-up! One fun feature of a private party at Painting with a Twist is the ability to select your own scene among thousands of possible paintings. We went with "Gentle Giants," a landscape with dinosaurs, but there are hundreds of options for a personalized experience. Shout-out to our instructor Lauren, who guided everyone through a stellar painting experience regardless of artistic ability. Finally, Painting with a Twist worked with me when there was a snag in refunding the party deposit fee (on the part of the credit card processor). Plenty of businesses would be slow or unresponsive in getting that resolved, but Bianca took care of me. tl;dr - Book a private party at Painting with a Twist for an easy, fun, and memorable experience!

We expected a great time, and the artwork we did was fine. However:…read more 1) The music was not only loud, but we found it offensive. We came to relax and paint and have a beautiful experience, not to be slammed with songs loaded with F words, calling women bitc***, forcing women to do stuff kind of lyrics, and nigg* this and that laced throughout. About an hour of that before music transitioned to "random whatever" songs for about a half hour, then back to the rap. For most people, if not all, this is a special experience- couples, birthdays, romance, celebration, etc. so not everybody wants to hear this kind of music. How about instrumental, classical, jazz, or standard radio (CLEAN rock. R&B, rap, etc.)? Or better, do we even need music? We can then focus and enjoy each other's company. READ THE ROOM. Yes, we didn't speak up, but we shouldn't HAVE to. This is a professional business. Some White folks were uncomfortable AND even some Black folks, At a minimum, she should have asked, "Hey, is everybody okay with hard core rap, x-rated language, and women being called bit*****, kind of music?" 2) The instructor sat all the Black folks at one table, and all the White folks at another. I'm hoping that was just a weird fluke, but it was obvious. 3) Instructor/artist was very sweet, but not focused on her students as much as she could have been. She also ran over time. The location was great, but we wouldn't go back to this location, nor recommend to others unless the music changed and there was a different instructor. And we hope they don't play the same music at other locations.
