Long story short, I ended up entrusting my Mini to Tieken and they did a good job swapping my old brakes for new ones. They did it within a couple of hours and saved me time and money. Employees were friendly and informative. The only hiccup I have to report is that they seemed to struggle trying to reset the brake sensor on my dashboard, but the solution was one YouTube video tutorial away and I was able to do it by myself. I talked with a person. -When I had my uncle out to help, we discussed and Junior tried to shut the hood on my uncle's hand. -I eventually had to give up on my truck because they would not return my calls. -This is the worst spot I could ever recommend going to. Junior is either a bad manager/owner or his team isn't good. I lost my truck because after multiple months of calling, they would not return my call. This is the worst I've been treated by any business. What was ironic was Junior stated he is not a crooked mechanic. He actually is and this is a crooked business. You can drive 15 minutes anywhere and not be affected like I was. Absolutely the worst I've ever come across. If I need to provide the phone log, it would be easy. Dude came recommended. Junior apparently isn't like his dad and very willing to screw you over. Again, I lost a vehicle over this. When one of the running boards ceased working I called and was told to bring it in. When I got there I was told they were "too busy" and to come back another day. They would call me with a good time. As I never heard from them I stopped by again and this time they diagnosed the problem as a burned out controller. They would order one and get back to me for when to bring my truck in for repair. A month has gone by and I am still waiting for a call. Customer service is appalling.

First of all, 1996 F250's only have a cutout in the bumper for one lamp so weren't even built to support two. Secondly, Texas Department of Public Safety Section 20.18 SubSec. 2c specifically states "Only one lamp is required" to pass inspection. This was verified on the "What's Inspected" list for trucks from DPS as well. Though this shop gets high rating my first visit was not positive and probably won't go back. That's unfortunate because I had a few small items that needed fixed and thought I'd have them done here to support a local business.

Rodrigo calls me late Friday to tell me he thinks it's the alternator shorting but wants to a full charge on the battery over night to make sure. Saturday he calls me to say it is the alternator but the root cause is the water pump, which is leaking and spraying the alternator. Monday night we picked it up - perfect, full explanation/demonstration of what he found, and reasonably priced work. We're not going anywhere else from here on out.
