I am 50 and taking guitar lessons for the first time. In just 4 sessions my playing has progressed by leaps and bounds and I've never enjoyed playing more. They customize sessions for almost any instrument and any age. Kinda cool sitting in the lobby at 50 with my guitar, next to a 6 year old girl and her guitar. I dont want to be in a band, but if you do they will teach you everything you need to know from how to play an instrument to how to play with others. They actually set up gigs at local locations and put you and other students center stage to actually play in front of a crowd. Whether you are 50 and just want to shred some Metal in your livingroom, or 6 and want to be a drummer in a band, you are surrounded by fun friendly folks that want you to succeed just as much as you do. Go to Hammersmith.rock and join the family. You have a dream and they can make it come true. Friendly, fun and flexible. The instructors and the students are awesome. Hammersmith truly rocks. Get in there for enrollment is limited and fills up quick. Weather you want to learn an instrument from scratch, or like myself, take what you already know to a new level, this is the place, these are the people. ROCK ON!

The bathrooms are always clean and once you figure out what is the best time for you to attend, you can get in an easy groove and attend on a regular basis without any hassle there's plenty of room to do whatever you wanna do here lots of space and lots of options. The pool is exceptional. The hot tub is great. The exercise areas are amazing and the indoor walking trail is really amazing in the winter if you want to stretch out and stay dry, we use it all year because my husband is blind and it's the safest place for him to walk. We really appreciate all the amenities here they are very handicap friendly and the staff is exceptional. We love coming here

I had never been in this building even though we often are at the library next door. My son and…read morefiance have told me many times how nice it is inside the facility and specifically my son has said how badly he wants to try the waterslide. My fiance and I had a few minutes to spare today so we decided to drop in so she could show me the facilities and we could talk with someone about a membership. As we are walking down a hall (within the first 5 minutes of getting there) in mid-conversation this older man begins following us and recording us. I don't mean to stereotype but it is what it is, this man was filthy, looked like he hadn't showered or changed his clothes, you get the idea. He tells us that we look like people who stole from there yesterday. My fiance told the front desk and they basically said the following: He recently had his cell phone stolen, so thats why hes suspicous of us. (The one he used to film us with I presume?) And basically we just need to deal with it... I never do reviews and really try to avoid leaving negative ones. But not only did this homeless older man follow us with a camera in our face just for entering the building...the worst part is the staff basically profiled/stereotyped us and told us to deal with it. My fiance said it best, "how could we have avoided that? Just for entering the building we are subject to that?" I definitely don't feel comfortable allowing my child to be there in a bathing suit. God forbid he "fits the description" or something and has to deal with the harassment from guests followed by a shrug of the shoulders from management. If you have a son or daughter who goes here regularly I would just like to say BE CAREFUL and PAY ATTENTION to who may be watching or FILMING YOUR KID!

I first learned of Journey through a friend when my daughter was just a toddler. Her first…read moreencounter was watching the shows, which she absolutely loved! All the shows are top notch productions--my mother has said that they exceed her expectations for what she would expect at the 5th Avenue. The best part is that all shows are cast with students from the program. When our daughter turned 6, she begged to join the Journey Troupers. She has not missed a class or camp since in the last 5 years. A veteran family of seven shows now, we are hooked. This is the most interesting and challenging volunteer work I've participated in--I have learned and grown as much as my daughter. The staff is amazing and all the families and volunteers are pulling for one another. The classes teach students foundational and advanced skills alongside what it means to be a good citizen and team player. It is a magnificent confidence builder for any child. Because the students cast and crew all of the productions during the year, even the most stage shy kids can play a role backstage or onstage. I'm so glad we found Journey and look forward to many more years to come.

The owner and all of the staff were made for this job! Sweet, fun, bubbly and kind, yet helpful, responsible and trustworthy, not to mention unafraid of a little drool and spit up lol. Our first time was filled with smiles, laughter and new friends. We've signed up and look forward to many joy filled experiences ahead. Plus, I think it is about the same cost as 30 years ago!!! I know as a new parents it is often hard to add on unnecessary expenses, but this one is definitely worth it. Thank you Little Gym for keeping it accessible to more families.

Her…read moreteachers provide her with much love and care, whether it's giving hugs or helping her with her lunch or improving her social and handwriting skills, and have been a joy to work with. The director and owner have always been very kind and responsive to whenever I had a question or concern too, and place a lot of importance on the health, safety, and well-being of the kids. We plan to enroll my daughter next year as well, because she doesn't want to leave her beloved teachers and friends!
