The gentleman in charge was very helpful. He drove me around to the various size options but I chose to go with the temperature controlled unit. Everything I saw was clean and ready for me to use so the issue discussed prior must have been resolved. Both my insurance agent and the gentleman in charge of the units recommended keeping everything off the ground, so I picked up some free wooden pallets and laid them on the floor. My only complaint is the old system of passkeys and the exit passkey is so loose on its stand inside the gate, I'm afraid that it will topple over as I punch in the code. An updated entry and exit system would earn AAA Self Storage the full 5 stars! I definitely recommend this self-storage company. PS Updated last weekend in March 2018. I was out in my storage unit this past weekend and they FIXED the passkey control and support stand so that it doesn't wobble any longer! So much easier now!

AWFUL. I've rented storage units many times from across the country. This is, by far, the worst…read moreexperience I have ever had. I moved to the area to go to law school and found the closest units to my residence. I should've done the research beforehand. They are nice in the beginning but are so very unprofessional. The online payment system is outdated and flawed. I work off and on for military and Veterans, and I move often. I had major problems with my autopayment setup (billing address changes, changing banks, etc). They change the rules of your contract after you've already signed it. (Contract says 24 hr access? Only if they deem it appropriate.) When I cleaned out my unit, everything touching the floor was water damaged at least 8 inches up. I was never given a hint there was flooding in my unit, or any unit, and needed to check for permanent damage. The man at the front is incredibly inappropriate and had threatening, aggressive behavior to me on the phone, while he saw that I was alone, late at night, leaving the property. I could go on for days about the issues I had with them. Full stop, they are unpleasant humans to do business with if an issue arises. I cannot stress to you enough to go elsewhere. Their MO tells me they will leave a smart remark below, so to hedge that I'm going to emphasize that this place is 100% not the best option in town. There are local blacklists in a couple community organizations I was a part of. This location is on those lists. There are plenty of other places that will save you a headache. I promise.

Well, we never got to far into the details because the only thing this company wanted to know was payment. Guess they've never heard of debit or credit cards. I even offered to pay via Zelle or PayPal. Once I responded to them about payment, never heard from them again. How tacky and unprofessional. I was already dealing with a tough time but to be ignored pissed me off. One thing I will not do is beg any business to take my money. I contacted another local moving company that was excellent. They had no issues with me paying via Zelle and got the job done.
