An example of this is they recently approached us about buying nunchucks for our little one for $30. I found the exact the same ones on amazon for $9 and they refused to allow her to use them. They have graduations far too often bc they are able to collect $90 per child for graduation fees. If you actually want to learn karate, I would highly advise checking out somewhere else.

Each cycle has a weapon assigned for the students to learn and do range from $30 to $70 depending on the weapon. Now all equipment for any ATA school has to be certified ATA APPROVED GEAR so if you find it cheaper online that is ok but it needs to have the ATA logo on it for the organizations accreditation to teach Taekwondo. Weapons are purchased in the beginning of the cycle and at the end of the cycle there is a graduation which costs $60 not $90 as was started by another reviewer. Now that those issues are cleared up from the previous reviewer I can explain my experience. Me and my daughter moved here from Clearwater and were attending an ATA school their and enjoyed it so when we moved here we found this to be the approved ATA school in this area. We joined and continued our training in August 2016 since then me and my daughter moved from there basic program to the leadership program and have been active in 3 to 4 classes a week. It took some time to adjust to the instructors accents but they have no issues repeating things until you understand it, you just have to say so as they are not mind readers. Currently my daughter is a green belt and I'm a camouflage belt and we are preparing for our second ATA tournament. I would recommended this school to anyone in the area and it helps with Weightless to as I have lost 25lbs just from doing the Taekwondo and no other exercise. Hope you enjoyed my review and you find it helpful.
