A very old shop with multiple rooms and corridors jam packed with second hand books. I have found some real treasures here. There are a few bookshops in Lincoln but this is the best! Hours can be spent in here. Books start at 50p and they had to open another shop (an old chapel I think) across the road to accommodate all the books. With more than 60,000 titles, this is a book lover's paradise and they will also buy books if like me you have thousands anyway. It is a bit pointless me selling boxes of books to them because..what do I do? I look round and buy more books.

Fabulous little vintage shop that has some real gems!…read more While the shop window may or may not display something to entice you in, the shop stocks a solid range of good quality, and well cared for, vintage clothing. There is a lot (clothing and accessories) in a small space, but it is all well displayed and isn't too cluttered or overwhelming (which I often find in London). I loved the accessories and several of the dresses (alas though, my favourite was too small...). Tip: the shop only displays some of their stock, check their website for more wonderful things.

Love this shop as its one of the few if only shops that sell Spongebob and Me To You Bear items…read more They have reasonable amount of clothing also, the sales are really good when they have them, prices in general can be a little overpriced but quality is good. Staff friendly and polite, only bad thing is pushing you to have a store card, which the staff have to do anyway so its not technically their fault.
New Look in Lincoln is the best one i have been in. This is because the shop is divided into…read moredifferent sections and it is easy to find what you want. The staff are friendly, take care when handling products to purchase and take questions and queries on bored. I find it very good how when you walk out of the changing rooms, a staff sees you and comes to give advice whether if a different size, colour or other things such as accessories will look better and make the person more 'trendy'. When purchasing an item, the staff at the till will talk to you and ask if you will be 'doing anything nice' due to the things which is about to be bought. New Look is practically more wardrobe and everything ticks my expectations and nothing i can think off is an issue. The best shop ever and not too pricey prices. Although, no one wants to pay more then they can.

The confusing part for some is that the checkout is on the other side of the store in the Burtons menwear section.

Spinning Wheel is a fantastic little shop in the heart of Louth town centre…read more When i say little shop i mean it is little, there isnt a great deal of room inside, though they do seem to maximise the use of the space without it appearing to be overcrowded. They have 3 changing rooms at the back of the shop which have always been clean and tidy everytime i have been in there. The staff are always pleasant and polite. They stock a range of designer and non designer clothes and i think the cheapest i have seen an item in there was a top for a fiver! If you like Spinning Wheel be sure to check out the Spinning Wheel Clearance shop round the corner in Aswell Street which sells all of Spinning Wheels old stock at usually less than half price! Between Spinning Wheel and Spinning Wheel Clearance these two shops saved my sanity and actually gave me somewhere decent to shop whilst living in Louth.

Spinning Wheel stocks labels such as Jackpot, Lipsy, etc - slightly different funky pieces that stand out from the New Look/Peacocks crowd! However, with the unusual styles comes higher prices, although these are worth it. It's also a very small shop, and hard to shop in if you have a buggy (lots of shops in Louth suffer in this way!). Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the clothes they sell, and it's a nice shopping experience.

Its a great shop to pop into as it has practically anything you could need (within reason) such as stationery, toys, household improvement items, plants, sweets, cleaning products, pet foods, etc. I think that the move has been fantastic for both the town and the store, however, the larger size of the store did not fix the problem with queuing as the queues are often quite long and time consuming.

It's a bit of a funny store: it isn't 'budget' cheap stuff, but it isn't expensive either. It's in the same sort of boat as BHS in terms of quality and price. I love Mackays baby stuff (I'll never call it M&Co!). They've got a really cute selection, and although it isn't cheap they do greatly reduce their sale items, so it's well worth visiting regularly. This store is a fair size and has womenswear and childrenswear, but no men's dept. Nice, spacious and clean, and staff were always pleasant when I've been there.
