At the end of the visit, I was asked if I wanted to wait for a copy of the films, or have them delivered to the doctor's office. Of course, I want them delivered to the doctor's office! Was told they would be there the next day. Great! Made appointment with the specialist for followup in 2 day's time (because after all - they are to get the films in one day, right?) We show up, doctor has reports, but no films. Wasted appointment wasted co-pay, wasted time. Argh. Phone them and ask them what happened - well, they had a processing problem. Great - I understand - but why not let me know so I don't make a useless appointment? It's not a month later, and I still don't have films. All they can tell me is they delivered them - but not when, how or prove it. Good thing it's not an emergency, just a nagging problem from an old injury. I suspect I will be arguing with them about who pays for copies - it's *not* going to be me. If you go, strongly suggest you wait for whatever it is you need for your next appointment. They seem to have some administrative and delivery issues. And if you can go someplace else, you may wish to. Will I return: No - I'll try to find another in-network business even if it's a farther drive. Would I recommend: No.

The biggest downside is that the wait time in the office is always very long and they're not the best about refilling medications through their voicemail - I often have to call them several times before they will eventually call meds in to the pharmacy.

My last visit in that time, I asked 2 questions that he answered within 30 seconds and I got a bill for each question I asked. Is this normal? Well after calling the office and hearing them say they'd check and call back because it "seems odd", I still don't know because this office NEVER calls back. I'm serious- they never call when they say they will. Bloodwork- "We'll call when we get it back" NOPE. I call weeks later. Sent for an x ray- twice... "We'll call as soon as we get the results". NOPE. I have to chase them weeks later, leave a message, they have to talk to someone, then they call with a vague, "it's normal"... and no alternative discussion or suggestions for the issues that sent me to the x ray in the first place.

He asks the right questions to make sure he can make the best diagnosis and he shares thoughtful suggestions to help you lead a healthy, balanced life. Fortunately, I don't need to see a doctor often, but when I do I know I will be well taken care of. I have never had to wait long and his staff is friendly and helpful.

Dr. Fenske has been my family doctor for years. He ALWAYS listens, tries the least invasive things…read morefirst and follows up. The office staff is friendly and accommodating. My children were young and he took expert care of them. As they grew to adults, they moved an hour away and still choose to drive to him as opposed to selecting a closer doctor. Wonderful Doctor.
