There are speeders, poor parking, people lost on how and where to go, leaving their cars unattended and by week 4 you would think things would have been solved. Nope. Communication from school is horrible. Most of the important messages are sent last minute and give parents zero time to prepare. Band also has poor communication and way too many rehearsals and events. The kids stay 12 hours and it's exhausting and frustrating for parents to handle. The organization of the school is poor. They only think of the sports and high academic students. Any with special needs are left behind and just not treated the same. They do the bare minimum to pass them off to the next year in hopes they just graduate and move on.

The majority of the people are not good people as I was constantly bullied and people used me. I discussed the bullying problem to the La Cueva Administration with very little success. The bullying continued until all of Albuquerque Public Schools was forced to go online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I realized people were using me when I transferred and looking back, I did not enjoy freshman year of high school. There are some people who are very nice and I still maintain close contact today. The teachers are veery good at their job. If the La Cueva administration were to begin to adress the bullying in a way that decreases the bullying that persists, I might rate the school higher.

She makes learning something to be discovered, like treasure he finds every day. He is always wanting to learn more about whatever they are currently studying. The Kindergartener loves his teacher too. He is learning so much and becoming a very inquisitive child. He is making great friends with the other children and learning how to talk with adults. It's wonderful that both kids are encouraged to interact with God on a personal level every day. They are asked to memorize scripture and pray regularly. Eastern Hills Christian Academy is an amazing place where my children are safe. They are learning every day and are being taught by people who want the same things for my children that I do. I never doubt that the people who work there love their jobs.
