I bought a matress from you in Feb 2019 on sale. I have had the matress in for repair 2 times so far. It is in need of repair again. Sales man lied to us about repair and cost to us when repair was needed. Sales manger told us we received a floor sample matress, We bought a year end sale matress.Paid 1000.00 dollars for a new matress, and got a used one. I can't get anyone to solve my problems. I purchased a very nice sectional in July. Immediately the fabric started to rub off in one spot. We had someone form Mathis come out and look at it. They said the piece needs to be replaced. Unfortunately for us that seems to be the end of the transaction. They have never contacted us about he piece. we have called in multiple times and it is going to show up on the truck "next week" every week. Their customer service department will not reach out to you and will not act in good faith. Do not purchase the extra coverage on anything because it will never get repaired so you are just setting your money on fire. read more

I will not be returning to do business with a shady and rude company. Financed a temperpedic mattress set which was in the back and implied to be NEW by our salesperson Steve who also never informed us the sale is final and is , "as is" and was also quick to try and get us discounts and enroll us in rewards stating it would help us with our purchase. When receiving had multiple large stains and wear marks, when addressing this to customer service was informed the sale is final and "as-is". Tried multiple times to get ahold of sales person Steve and even left a message with no return call. Finally went in-person to talk to manager and salesperson who talked down to me with attitude saying the sale was final, the sub-par condition (stains) is why this item is discounted and "......if you don't like then go buy one at full price from the manufacturer", also we cannot give more discounts. I had to inform them I am not here for a discount, I am here because of dishonesty and wanted them to make it right. After going around with them they offered to exchange the mattress for another in-store but did not have the exact one so we got the middle mattress and saved some money which we put towards the delivery/exchange fee. A few days later I receive a bill for $79 for rewards which was not gone over and call to cancel with request of confirmation , I am told it will take a few days to process and get e-mail confirmation (we will see). I decide I want to also cancel extended warranties and informed the mattress was cancelled upon exchange (which is fine) and I would have to talk to Salesperson Steve about the canceling warranty on base. Dec 10th I was greeted by Marleny who assisted me in finding the right size desk I was looking for. Found it and purchased it, and told Marleny that I would be back because I needed some other furniture, and I truly liked the awesome customer she provided to me and I noticed all the employees were giving outstanding customer service to customers. On Dec 19th, I went back the store which Marleny Lora assisted me with finding a bed. After I found the bed I wanted to purchase she then walked me over to the mattresses and that's where I met Patrick Messel who assisted me with my mattress selection. Recently I bought a new home and was in the market for new furniture.My experience with this business other than our salesperson Perry and the manager Roger Mathis who was nice was nothing short of awful if I could give 0 stars I would.I bought over $7 thousand dollars worth of furniture.Even though I called ahead for them to start pulling order it took over 2 hrs. To get it pulled.They did not load in my dining room table and the love seat after I got home was broke.The light bar for my entertainment center was broke in half.Before all that my wife and I came in and was greeted by a sales lady that seemed anxious to get rid of us to wait on another Hispanic couple so we let her.We then picked up another salesman who showed us all our stuff.The first sales lady continued several times to give my family nasty looks because we was buying alot of items.My salesman got the sales manager to see if it would be possible to get a discount on so much and he was very rude and curt ( this almost caused us to walk away) but we enjoyed our salesman so we stayed.There are many other things that went haywire during all this that I don't want to keep going.Previously I have bought all my furniture at Mathis Bros. I recently purchased a mattress from this store that cost $811.20. I was told at the time that the store policy is that no returns are accepted for under $1000.00, but that sometimes special exceptions are made, and if there was a problem I should contact the department manager. I was also told that if I purchased a mattress cover (an extra $100) this would help me make a return in case there were any structural problems with the mattress. After my first night on this mattress, my legs and back were in so much pain that it took nearly a week for the pain to back off. When I tried to sleep on it again, the same thing happened. I called the store manager and explained the problem, but was told that the store would not accept the return, and also that in addition to a mattress cover, the purchase of a pillow was required for returns. I called the mattress factory and was again told no returns were possible. I am beyond frustrated. I am aware of the store policy, but what I was told verbally does not match up with my experience. If physical pain does not constitute grounds for a "special circumstances" return and refund, I don't know what does. I now have a mint condition mattress, an $811 credit card bill (not to mention the $100 mattress cover), and am sleeping on an old broken-down mattress on the floor, because even that is more tolerable than my nearly $1000 purchase. read more

I am a long time customer of Factory Direct and my last 2 experiences have been bad with the delivery. This last time I had a new salesman, not blaming him entirely but he was not properly trained. I asked for delivery on Sunday and my items didn't get delivered nor did I get a call. I called first thing Monday morning and talked to a manager Nicole. Found out it was never scheduled to be delivered Sunday. I waited all day for them. Items finally delivered Monday. Nicole got it straightened out but what a headache! read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! When I received the chair the fabric was wrinkled and didn't lay right. I asked for a replacement and they told me they would have more in Saturday. When I got there Saturday it wasn't ready. They promised me it would be In Wednesday, Still nothing. The next Saturday still nothing. I was promised another day next week. At no point did any one contact me to inform me of the constant push back of when I would receive my chair. Found a piece of furniture at the Outlet Store Marked down practically in half. Had to run down the street to the main store to check out some dining room tables before they closed, so we left and told two salesmen we wanted this particular piece of furniture and we'd be right back. Ran down to the main store and saw that same piece of furniture for full price.. Also found a table we were looking for. Instead of running back to the outlet, to buy it, we asked if they'd price match it. It's the same company, so why not? After our sales lady found the manager they put a call in to the outlet store. They proceeded to tell us that piece of furniture was tagged wrong. It was a mistake and they could get into trouble giving it to us for that price. Can't you get into trouble for false advertisement?!? You bet we're gonna fight this. As soon as they knew we were on our way to speak to a manager at 6:50 pm... They shut the store down and locked the doors at 6:59. Bullshit. They knew what they did. Own up to it. Walmart would even price match it, so why can't you? It's your damn mistake. Besides... Terrible service! Our salesman, Patrick, decided a phone call was more important than us. He pawned us off on a very rude cashier. After waiting 50 minutes for a simple accent chair, we were told "oh that has to be picked up at Mathis Brothers." We go to Mathis Brothers bays 1-10 as directed by rude cashier and wait another 20 minutes. After we get in a bay they tell us we need to go to bays 21-23, so we wait another 30 minutes. Over a 2 hour wait just for a simple chair, TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! read more

I purchased a bed and they loaded the wrong one into my truck - the item number was off by a digit which is an understandable mistake...not a big deal. Of course they were closed by the time I got home and discovered it. This bed was for a rental home with guests arriving the very next afternoon...so I was in a time crunch to say the least. The next morning, to make a long story "less-long", the lady I spoke to on the phone was very understanding and reasonable and offered a good solution, however when I got to the distribution center, the manager was much less reasonable and would not honor the resolution I had been given. This ended up costing me a half day off work and many hours of wasted time. It was 100% their fault this happened but it quickly became obvious that it was now 95% my problem and 5% theirs. I've fully furnished 4 houses with these guys so I had hoped that would count for something. You really shouldn't have to complain and gripe and throw a fit to get a mistake they made corrected but being polite and professional didn't work here. You just get told no until you perform the former...Basically, they've just lost a very loyal customer over a $350 bed. Great place to buy furniture, even better way of business! I went in to buy a bed and patio furniture and ended up also buying a chair in the As Is department. I fell in love with this chair! We weren't quite sure which of two beds we wanted, we were already approved for financing, so our salesman told us to the take the evening and come in on Monday. I went back Monday to wrap up the sale, but to my surprise the MOD saw that the invoice wasn't paid in full (lacking my signature on financing) and sold the chair out from under me. I was incredibly upset and asked that the GM give me a call. The next day, Mr. Rick Mathis himself called and apologized for what had happened. He stated he was going to honor the price of the chair in As Is, but he would give me a brand new one. I'll be a customer for life!!! read more
