This place is absolutely wonderful!!! I am so happy with the entire experience ...my son was struggling so much with his sophomore year math class, falling behind, not understanding the work in class, going for extra help during school and never being able to get one on one time with the teacher, he was miserable and felt lost. I am so thankful to have found Mathnasium in Anthem, it has been the best experience, David is so welcoming and encouraging. He set him up with a tutor (Ed) twice a week and my son has been relieved of the stress of failing while gaining confidence and knowledge. They have helped my son achieve his goals and relieve his stress. I cannot thank them enough for all the time spent working with him...even giving extra time at each lesson. I highly recommend them! We visited Mathnasium twice before taking the plunge, we were hesitant about how much it cost and if it could really work! My daughter has always had to work extra hard in math class to stay afloat and has never really "liked" the subject to say the least. Then came the worst year yet, a teacher who she didn't like, who yelled a lot, and openly admitted in a conference they were not going to teach children that didn't want to be quite and learn!! In came our frustration and desperation for our daughter to learn math, gain confidence in her ability, and learn to not hate the subject completely. Hence the research and visits to Mathnasium. After the first visit and sticker shock I held out hope that a new teacher, new year & newly in place curriculum could fix the damage from the entire last year. Unfortunately during our first conference with the new amazing teacher it was clear my daughter needed extra help. Her new teacher informed us our daughter seemed to check out in class, have no confidence or desire to learn the material. This was a devastating blow as that is not the strong willed, determined girl we knew and loved. At that point any amount of money was worth showing her she could be successful if she wanted to and tried hard. We signed up for Mathnasium that week and I will 110% tell you every penny was worth it!! I don't write reviews and my husband does not spend money!! We would both recommend and provide the highest accolades to Mathnasium and their amazing staff! After just one week we received an email from her new teacher singing her praises and telling us how impressed she was with the progress in her learning and confidence. My daughter felt confident enough to volunteer to teach the class a homework problem everyone struggled with and "ROCKED IT!!!" As a parent you know at that moment our hearts skipped a beat and we knew everything was well worth it! So if you are even slightly thinking about registering and bringing your child to Mathnasium is Anthem do yourself a favor and make the investment in your child and their future you will appreciate it! read more

Mathnasium is amazing! Our son's struggles in math were going to prevent him from being promoted. Extra tutoring with his teacher after school wasn't helping. We decided to try out Mathnasium's summer program and we are so glad we did! All of the teachers are so positive and explain concepts in a way that stayed with my son. We were so impressed that we decided to keep our son going to Mathnasium during the school year. When home learning started because of COVID, Mathnasium worked quickly to offer a way that our son could meet with a teacher live from home. They really handled this challenge smoothly and perfectly. I really appreciate the learning assessments that are given. I was able to see exactly where the holes were in my son's math learning and better then that, his progress in mastering those concepts. David and Jimi gave our son confidence, they really care about each kiddo and their family! Their stellar teaching even gave our son the ability to explain mathematical concepts to his 1st grade brother. I was amazed when I heard him explaining what an even number is and how you can know if a number is even. We love Mathnasium! read more

Only about three months ago, we were referred to Mathnasium by our Math teacher. I was very desperate. I truly didn't understand how my nine year old suddenly started to struggle terribly in third grade math. She at one point got so lost that she lost her confidence in numbers and stopped thinking for all and stopped trying at one point. Well, about two weeks ago I met her Math teacher, she not only told me that my daughter was doing better in class, but also showed me her work in class before and after tutoring. THE DIFFERENCE was shocking! Her confidence showed even in the way she wrote her answers!! She told me not to worry cause my daughter now tried harder and was more willing and she even made NO mistakes in her worksheet!! For parents out there who try everyday with their kids very hard so they can see their kids succeed, you would probably believe me if I said I couldn't hold my happy tears!! My daughter is not an A+ student for now and it is fine with me, but what matters is that she says she loves math now and LOVES Mathnesium and this for me is a perfect start. Thank you Mathnesium!! Denna now willingly does her Math homework with no fear and tears. I have no doubt in time she will improve more, because now she is willing to improve. Mathnesium creates a very relaxing, fun, friendly environment for kids to want to learn. Every single tutor who sat with my daughter is encouraging and exposing my daughter to think in different ways. I love that idea.
