My son took the classes this summer and really felt he got a lot out of them. He raised his overall…read morescores tremendously, and has been very excited about his weekly results. It's not easy going to classes over the summer, but my son loved the way Mary and Albert have made their SAT prep club not only very helpful and informative but warm and welcoming. Also, my son and I sat and talked to both professors before starting the class and had a chance to meet. I think it was a great idea to see if both student and professors were on the same page as to the expectations of the class moving forward. As a parent, I appreciated the class size being limited to 6 and the expectations laid out for all to agree on. I would recommend these professors to anyone.

I help my students explore every aspect of this crazy standardized test prep process. To take the SAT or the ACT? That is the question: I offer free diagnostic testing to assess which is the better test for you. Need to raise that score by 20 or 200? We can talk about that too. This is like no other test prep company out there because it's me. Just me and six students (never more). The most overqualified instructor you can find. Why do I do this? Because I am committed to offering "elite" level educational opportunities to anyone who deserves it regardless of their parents' income. Committed just as much as me? Come in to see me; we can work it out.

Dr. Malik took me from 44% correct to 82% correct on my NBMEs in a little over 1 month. He turned my confusion into confidence and believed in me every step of the way. USMLE exams are stressful and step 1 had my anxiety through the roof but Dr. Malik was there for me and lifted that burden of stress allowing me to think clearly and even making learning medicine fun. Dr. Malik is a unique tutor because he is dedicated to his students and truly wants you to succeed. He goes above and beyond to make sure you not only pass but high pass and understand the material. I used his services for step 1 and I am so grateful for my pass on the first attempt. His methods are not easy but if you stick it out and do your best, you will achieve your goals and learn many pearls of wisdom along the way. Looking forward to using him again. 10/10 highly recommend.

I had a free consultation session with Dr. Malik and then with others. I saw a different approach offered by Dr. Malik (instead of reading the q bank questions word for word- he has a different approach). Having signed up with Dr. Malik, was a great investment because his approach for adequately prepping for Step 3 was different. Dr. Malik's teaching style, one on one interaction, and identifying weakness and strengthens enabled me to pass Step 3 with 32 points above the assessment tests. He is constantly providing resources and is more than willing to help you succeed. If you're in the same boat as me, then I highly recommend his tutoring. Gluck to all!

A little background of where I was coming from before I met Mark: A year prior, I had gone through…read morenumerous classes (in-class, online), drained hours of studying, and learned other people's methods, giving me a good grasp of concepts however, I was plateauing, specifically in verbal. ( V35, V36, V34, V30, V35....) My math has always been strong (47-49) but something subtle behind the way I was approaching verbal was setting me back. Mark taught me how to look at verbal like math by "decoding the matrix" and after taking 10 hours with him, I suddenly clicked. I feel that Mark's approach to teaching not only helped me look at the GMAT in a different light, but also helped by relating it to my everyday life, making it not as dull and monotonous to study. Mark is very energetic and very personable. He really dug in deep with my weaknesses and accessed how I approached the problems. Some things that he taught me are even applicable outside the GMAT. As mentioned, after I tried many resources and tutors, Mark was the one that finally unlocked my testing to V40. Highly recommend Mark Alan Robinson for private tutoring! I took the course both times with Mark Alan Robinson. Initially I was steadfast with my engineering "must-solve" mentality and didn't get out of the course as much as I potentially could have 1st time around. The second time was completely different, I took to Marks "unorthodox" approach to viewing problems and solutions to not only make the GMAT more fun, but also taught me the values that CEO's carry with them at all times, but most interestingly, these values were simple enough for a 6 year old to understand. He is very knowledgeable and is very easily accessible outside of class, especially for such a busy individual. His examples usually revolve around people or instances and these tend to stick a lot better than conventional teaching methods (for me personally at least). I highly recommend anybody looking for help with the GMAT to look out for his class. The only thing I'd say is you need to patient and buy into his methods, they may frustrate you initially, but in the longer run, are very valuable information and practices.
