This place is amazing. My boys have improved significantly since we signed up in July. Peter explains everything thoroughly and how program works without being pushy for you to sign up. They make it super fun for the kids. My kids love being there and love the instructors. When you complete assignments they get cards to redeem for gifts. There's fun nights where they have games, movies, icecream making, etc. Booking the sessions are also super easy online. You get reminders on times and emails on kid's progress. Great tutoring center. Mitch explains everything when you start and the tutors are all very friendly. There are different packages available for how often your child needs to go. And the online scheduling system is very easy to use. We got the unlimited package and my sister is definitely improving after attending several times a week. Mathnasium, New Hyde Park is amazing! My daughter loves this place! They are friendly, warm and really focus on the areas where the kids need the most support. After the first month of attending, my daughter's math grade improved from B to A! She always looks forward to going and said the staff is awesome! They know how to communicate and make the connection with the children. They take their time in explaining what the teachers miss in class. The kids get the individual attention they need at their pace. Another great incentive is the prizes and recognition the children get. By bringing in their test grades and achieving a 90% or better they get to choose really cool prizes. Each session, after completing the required worksheets they earn stamps that can be saved up to trade in for earphones, games and more! SO WONDERFUL! Mathnasium in New Hyde Park has been such a great resource to my daughter! I had tried a few places during her education- every tutor (and her school teachers) that worked with her would tell me that she didn't "need" tutoring, she only needed to feel more confident in Math. I never understood that response from them. Peter Abrams started from scratch, with an assessment- that very quickly pinpointed her problem areas. It has been so amazing to see her progress and peace of mind in this subject since we started last year.
