I have sent my children to Immanuel Genius (Bayside location, which has the same management and head of administration as this location) since 2013 (going on 2 kids, and can't wait to send my 3rd child here soon). My kids started Immanuel Genius at the age of 2 and graduate at the age of 4 going on 5. What really sets Immanuel Genius head and shoulders above the other schools in the Queens area is the quality of the teachers and the quality of the teaching. 1) Quality of the teachers - My experience with my children's teachers is that they are dedicated, professional, and really go the extra mile to hear all my concerns and requests. They have been very receptive to feedback and most of all, I get the sense that they care deeply about each child. Things that may seem trivial like the angst I had about meals and one of my kids being an extremely picky eater - they completely tackled this issue head on and no issue was too trivial to them. They tried various things to get my child to eat and now my child is eating well (and one day when my child was eyeing a teacher's lunch, she gave her lunch to my child to eat, sacrificing her own lunch!). When I was worried about potty training and sending my child to school in underpants, they were communicating my child's progress with me every step of the way and now my child is happily potty trained. When my oldest child was in the pre-K class, the teachers were devoted to taking care of my child's growth on all fronts - not just academic, but also social and behavioral development. The teachers had a keen eye and really dug deep into brainstorming with me as to areas of growth and ways that we could work with them in bringing out the best in my child. The teachers were also very positive and encouraging and always left me feeling full of hope at my child's potential. The level of care that I have experienced for each of my children by the teachers is very high, certainly higher than any of the other schools I have been to. 2) Quality of the teaching - No age is too young at this school to start developing a child's mind. I love the balance at this school between a high academic standard with all sorts of fun activities and extracurricular programs like taekwondo, dance, etc. Particularly when it comes to the upper classrooms and preparing my child for Kindergarten as well as a Gifted & Talented focus, the school was excellent and on top of all of this. They even had a meeting for parents to discuss Kindergartens and the G&T process. My experience from being at this school going on 4 years is that it is one of the best places my children could be and it truly stands out above other schools in the area. I have always felt that the teachers here just truly care about the kids, and go out of their way to care for children's needs and address parental concerns, and that is the most important thing to me. read more

This is the best school for the academic foundation for your child. All five of our children have been through this educational system (first 4 were blessed in Immanuel's Flushing location and thankfully the closer to home one here in Douglaston with the new facility:) and was beyond being prepared for the New York Public school system, our fifth child, after graduating from Immanuel (as our little "genius":) actually came home these first few weeks from first grade saying that she already knows everything the teacher is talking about in class and it was the same lessons from Immanuel. Immanuel School knows the school system and prepares your child for engaging headon in this competitive generation. The student and teacher interaction, as well as the principal, are the best in child development and counseling. They will expand your child's potential because of the personal interaction that many public education systems lack, perhaps due to time constraints and crowded classrooms. They don't just teach your child basic facts and memorization, they build a strong sense of contributing to community by discovering your child's gifts and nurturing them. This favorite school. First I am think this school very bad because is korean . You know if some korean always take care korean only but my kids different my kids is mix. after my kids go butterfly class everything in my mind change. My kids is so shy right know is talking more and have a lot manners. And my kids always tell us ms Rachael and ms lily is so good what ever ms Rachael is more scary than ms lily . Ms Rachael can easy angry if we no follow the rules at class and ms lily always remind me if we no eat because her always say "you will hungry later because you go home late" and if no sleeping ms lily can tell us sleep. Ms lily is more busy do a lot paper everyday. And ms lily sometimes play at park with us . Ms Rachael is difficult ask her play at park. Always I am listen from my kids ms Rachael and ms lily this and that . And my kids very happy in the butterfly class having two teacher so nice . Hope this school put ms Rachael and ms lily always together , because they good combination teaching kids learning anything. I am feel lucky having ms Rachael and ms lily teaching my kids . I'm very happy my child in this school.what ever I'm think is no good because a lot Korean people working in this school.but my kid teacher lucky no Korean .im Korean but I'm didn't want my kid have teacher Korean . My kid before shy but now can enjoy the class. Every days my kid would talking about the teacher doing in class specially they say the teacher will give hug ,play running in park ,and sometimes angry if my kid no sleep. How lucky my kids get two teacher have a lot passionate to my kids. And bring my kid get in car if go home time and waiting my kids in fronts door every morning with laugh. I'm think this is suck good teachers what ever they no korean but they can make my kids very concern about rules and make my kids no borings at school and have a lot fun . My daughter attended the Butterfly class at the Little Neck location. She absolutely loved her teachers and the different events they had. The school held an event almost every month in their class which involved a lot of family involvement. The school allowed me to come into my daughter's class and read fairytales to them during fairytale month; go into the class and talk about my job during career month. In December and June, they rented out a auditorium and put on a show!! It was truly amazing and it brought me to tears to see how much my little one has grown. At first, I was contemplating if I should put my daughter in the Butterfly or the UPK class and I was surely glad that I chose to put her in the Butterfly. After graduating in June, she is now able to do simple mathematics on her own and read 3-4 words easily. The more difficult words, she would sound it out on her own and with a little bit of my help, she can get it. She has learned so much this past year and I'm truly grateful for the school for doing such a great job! read more

Specially to Ms Rachael is really strictly teaching and help my kid learning anything so well and Specially to Ms lily is remind my kid a lot about discipline. Thank you for two you all . You two is reall great teachers, combination two teachers like this is really hard specially in butterfly class is really expensive I am pay each month for my kids. I am definitely recommending this school and two teacher Ms Rachael and Ms lily to my friends. What ever Ms Rachael off days the school still put Ms lily teaching my kid. What ever Ms lily TA her still teaching my kids and give my kids a lot home work if the days head teacher take vacation . It is very hard to find a perfect place for our child to preschool. Finally, we made a decision to this school, just less than a month, we felt our decision was very correct. Our kid is in good hands. Our kid is happier than before. She likes school and talks a lot every time back home. She even shows off what she learns at school. The teachers are nice. Others kids are sometimes fighting for things, but overall still OK. School teachers and staff all very careful about their safety. This is I like the most. What is the biggest concern as parents? Your child safety and happiness. The school also invites us to school and we discuss the time my daughter at school. This enables us to know about her growth and development. My two kids love Immanuel. My daughter who graduated prek in June is spending her summer there with her friends and teachers. She is already sad with the thought they they will all be separating at the end of the month to head for kindergarten. And my son who still goes there loves school so much. He is almost 3 and got fully potty trained by his teacher! They take my son to the bathroom every hour to ensure that he doesn't have an accident. Our family has had a wonderful experience with Immanuel Genius at their Little Neck and Bayside locations. All three of my kids attended Immanuel Genius for several years and developed valuable educational and social skills that helped prepare them for Kindergarten, and they even helped with potty training! Immanuel's teachers are very conscientious and caring, and my kids loved all of their teachers. The classrooms in the Little Neck location are a bit larger and newer than the Bayside school, but I have no complaints about either. It is very important that my daughter loves to go to Immanuel Genius. She was a shy girl that I little concerned in the beginning of her school year. But she has been changed. She talks about her teachers and friends all the time. She likes school activities too. I am really happy that she enjoys her school. Also, I am surprised that my little girl recognizes alphabets. Our daughter attends Immanuel Genius and she loves it. She loves ballet and tae kwon do class. She practices her hiya punches on me sometimes but at three years old it is still cute. There is a good balance of art, activity and academics. The school is very organized, neat, clean and fosters a well rounded learning experience. I sent two children to Immanuel in bayside and littleneck. The youngest went upk program. My youngest child missed school often, but his teacher always prepared and sent missing homeworks. Lunch was important to us because the children were young, but I was so grateful for the food to be prepared and taken care of. I am very happy and highly recommended. read more

I really like this school and their teachers. My daughter back home very happy almost every day. She talks a lot about what she learned, her classmates, teachers everything everybody.
