After a brief consult with the massage therapist, my massage started about ten minutes later. It ended right on time at 4:50, so it ultimately was only 40 minutes, not 50. Oh well. The massage itself was fine-I left feeling relaxed and better than I had when I went in. Although there were a few little things that could be improved upon such as the full 50 minute massage like I mentioned. I also noticed that the room was mostly silent for the majority of the massage until nearly the end when music started to play. It would have been nice to have that music the whole time. I also felt like the price was a bit steep-$85 for 40 minutes. I've had massages elsewhere for the full 50 minutes for less money. Then we went to the room and were instructed to keep our clothes on and lie face up with a pillow under our legs but not head. They rubbed our feet and hands and lightly our scalp. My wife described it as getting a massage from your child. Let me be clear...they are very kind and the atmosphere is nice but they clearly come from the "massage school" in the same parking lot.
