Now, this is obviously completely idiotic, but I do admit a nice set of polished nails (forget the French mani a neat gloss job will do) makes a certain statement. So go get killer tips (buffed, polished, or French) and toes (the pedi and paraffin treatment melts sore muscles to margarine) at Beauty Cosmetics & Fragrance Inc. on East Hastings Street, where your hands and feet will be dipped in warm wax then placed in special mittens to encourage a deeply penetrating hydration effect. The story's the same when it comes to sun-damaged skin. Bring back your youthful glow with a Whitening Treatment with Soli-Tone advanced technology that smoothes skin, reducing pigmentation (aka those yucky brown spots) and optimizes cellular renewal. Or, try an Eye Anti-Aging treatment to reduce wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles. Remember that episode of Sex and the City, where Samantha's latest boy-toy asks her to trim her hair... down there? If you've recently been similarly inspired to take a little off the bottom, BC&F offers a full menu of bikini-specific wax treatments. If it's your first time, try a Traditional. Growing a bit bolder? Try a French Bikini Wax. For the beyond brave, bring on the Brazilian!

Feels not comfortabe at all! Body massage was just like a finger touch only 15 minutes! (suppose to be 30 minutes). Then they put a ginger flavor cleanse on my face, put oil on my body. The most funny thing is after they had clean my body, they did not remove the plastic underneath, I have to sleep on the oily plastic wrap! Not a professional service. Don't recommend.

The hair removal works really well. Did a larger area, my legs and only needed two sessions! Have done several body contouring sessions and my skin is responding but it takes a lot more time as it's recommended to have it done weekly, so be prepared to devote a good chunk of time to it. I like their pricing and the package deals and it's laid out well on their website. When you leave there's a selection of drinks to choose from which is a nice touch.

WARNING: this is long and detailed post telling you about my BAD experience…read more Came in for an one - hour Euporean facial and it was absolutely an unsatisfactory experience and I will not go back ever again. Would also like to warn anyone who is planning to try this place out. Cleansing: the technician only cleansed my face near the chin area. I didn't realize so until she started to wipe dry my face and put on another type of cream. I was there for the earliest appointment of the day so I thought I should let it go because she probably thinks that my face is clean so she didn't bother spending too much effort cleaning my face. Exfoliating: she used peeling cream which dries up every quickly. She tabs on the cream very lightly on one side and when she finished doing so for the other side, the cream on the first side has already dried up. Then she aggressively rubbed the deied cream off my face. As I questioned the way how she did it, she explained that's how "you use peeling cream". Naive enough I trusted her "professional opinion". And here comes the worst part: she skipped the extraction. Every time I go to other spas for facial treatments, extraction on the face and pimples is always part of the treatment. When she moved on to putting on mask quickly after the aggressively rubbing on my face, I questioned if she was going to extract the blackheads and pimples on my face. She answered she preferred not to ( wait, what? You can get to choose what the standards procedure is, and choose what you "preferred" to do?) I asked her why and she didn't explain well. When she finally agreed to do so, she only intended to extract with her own hands - no suction equipment, not even a pimple extraction needle , just her BARED HANDS with no tissue whatsoever - that was absolutely outrageous. How could a licenced facial treatments facility has no such basic facial treatment equipments?! I told her my concerns and all she could replied to me is that she doesn't do facial treatments as how I expected it to be. I didn't expected anything unrealistic but a treatment with basic yet standard features including a thorough cleaning, effective but NOT- aggressive exfoliation, extraction in any problematic area and pimples, and a hydrating mask. Mask : after telling her my concerns her attitude got very bad. After she had put on the mask for a short few minutes, she wiped it off and applied very minimal toner on my face. She didn't even bother with the moisturizer. Hence, face feels very dry. I didn't even bother to argue with anyone as she didn't seem to agree with me. Once again, it is a very horrible experience and I surely will not go back.

When I walked in, she looked as if she didn't want to be there, offering no greeting or smile, and had a demeanor similar to an angry school teacher. She pointed to the chair, and asked me in a brusque manner, "What do you want to do today?" I specifically told her that I wanted to clean up my eyebrows without thinning them out. Despite this, she proceeded to roughly remove the hairs, causing me a lot of pain and leaving me with uneven eyebrows. When I pointed out that one eyebrow was thinner than the other, she refused to take responsibility for her mistake, blamed my eyebrows, and simply walked away. To add insult to injury, after threading my eyebrows, she didn't even apply any gel or cream, which is the usual practice to soothe the skin. When I asked her for some, she rudely extended her arm out to me with the gel and told me to do it myself. To make matters worse, I had gone to the salon two days before my birthday, and now I have to celebrate with thin, uneven eyebrows and a couple of scars. I'm extremely unhappy with the service I received, and I won't be returning to the salon. I do want to mention that during a previous visit, another esthetician, a kind and patient woman from Bombay, did an excellent job on my eyebrows. However, based on my most recent experience with the owner, I cannot recommend this salon. If you're looking for someone who is gentle, patient, and follows instructions, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Sometimes the management will ask existing customers via email if they will like to be "model" for the trainee staff to practice on. It will be a free treatment and you provide feedback on the experience. Pretty much a win-win situation. Covid-19 safety protocol is in place here. To minimize waiting inside, you are asked to come in at your appointment time. Mask is to be worn at all times. Hand sanitizer is there. Even before covid, this place already practices cleanliness with disposable paper cover on the treatment bed and pillow. One time use of spatula. No double dipping of wax. I definitely feel safe in here. The prices have gone up quite a fair bit by $5 or so and I hope it will remain stable. If it gets too expensive, I may either consider DIY or find other places or only go occasionally instead of regularly.

I went on their website and saw they have 1 hour foot massage with head and shoulder massage, so I called to make a same day booking. The receptionist was very helpful and made the booking for me. She also informed me that there was free parking across the street. The location is great too, it's just 5 mins walk away from the Gilmore sky train station. As soon as I walked in the receptionist, her little white poodle, my therapist Huma came out to greet me and asked what I need and why I needed to come in. I was seated on a comfy lazy boy chair. The rooms are clean and with dim lighting and spa music. Huma prepared a bowl of warm water to soak my feet to start. The massage was great to the point that I almost fell asleep. Huma was very knowledgeable on which area to press on the foot to release body stress. After massaging my feet, she targeted on my leg cramps area. She was able to relief my leg cramps and wrapped a hot towel after the massage. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quick massage.
