Went to the salon to get a hair cut and change up my color, my services were done By Ashley, I had…read moregone in for a hair cut before and mentioned what I wanted to do to my hair and she recommended I come in to her instead of doing it myself, i asked her how much, and she said $155 for everything I had said I wanted, and I decided that would be my best bet, especially for the price, even though I had already purchased everything to do it myself, we had texted on a few occasions about what I was going to have done and what we were going to do at one point she messaged saying it was actually going to be $175 based on what we were going to do and I supposed that was fine, and then maybe an hour and a half before my appointment she messaged me saying it was actually going to be $195, and I had already gotten the cash. Since they only take cash or check. So I had to go get more money, I took a half day off work to make sure we had more time, we do the hair it takes 5 hours, I mentioned going through the process that I thought we should bleach the roots, multiple times, and she said the dye would lift it and told me about 4 times to trust the process, before I gave up on mentioning it. we were there until about 9pm, I didn't get a good look at it but when I got home I got a look and nothing was evenly colored or what I had wanted it to look like, so I messaged her the next day and she didn't get back to me until the end of the day and basically said she thought it turned out almost exactly like my inspo pic, I responded with how I didn't think it looked like the inspo and why I didn't think it looked like the inspo pic based on the process we went through with the hair, and she said that she didn't like the way I expressed it and that she didn't think she was a good fit but she could give me $30 back. She gave me back MY TIP. And that is all, didn't take responsibility for how it looked or anything also didn't offer to fix it. Some things went right, the color I could live with but these roots are HORRENDOUS, and $30 back fixes everything. Might just stick to the at home stuff. You can literally see in the picture that SHE posted that both sides of my head are different colors, the one from the side view was my hair before. And at least the grown out roots blended out. Obviously the inspo pic is the perfect one, and does my hair remotely look like that? I personally don't think so but at least I got my tip back. The before picture was about 3 weeks before when I just went for the hair cut, when I went for services I only had about 10 weeks of grow out, about an inch or so, but I left looking like my roots have been growing out for MONTHS.

I had Judy as my stylist and she was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. I had asked for a reverse…read moreombré and was unhappy with how light the color on the bottom came out in comparison to the swatch that was given. I then waited a couple weeks and the color was almost completely gone and went back to get it redone darker. She gave me half price, however I guess to give me the "discount" it required her to yell at me and tell me I should go see another stylist. Will never be returning. The job she did was okay, but I've definitely had better and with that "customer service" you can bet they aren't getting another dime from my pocket. EDIT: I posted a review on fb and the owner commented essentially saying there's no reason I should've felt unhappy with my initial coloring and said nothing about me being yelled at by one of her employees. She admitted that she and other stylists were there and watched or heard me get yelled at and yet did nothing.

So this is a tough one. I want so badly to love this place. It's so wonderful to find English…read morespeaking people. The gal who did my pedicure did a good job on my toe nails. Here's my problem: 1 - I made an appt with Trang, but when I got there, I was told Keely would be doing my pedicure. (Why wasn't my appt honored?) This was my first time there, so I decided to go ahead with it since I was already there. While chatting with Keely, I found out that she never went to school for this and it NOT licensed. She is, however, dating the owner's son.....so I guess that's supposed to be enough training. LOL. 2 - Keely did a good job with the trimming and painting of my toenails, BUT, it should be noted that there was ZERO foot massage. Every other place I've ever been does a massage with a pedicure. Not Keely. The other weird thing is that she slathered up my feet with lotion as the very last part, so when I left I was sliding around in my sandals. This is very uncomfortable. Maybe if she had training she would know that this is not how it's done. 3 - This treatment was $75. Never in my life have I ever paid $75 for a pedicure. Even high-end spas don't charge this much. I was shocked by this. I didn't see any pricing listed anywhere, so perhaps my fault for not asking up front. Or maybe she makes up her own pricing. Normally, places have different "levels" of pedicures to choose from; Trendy Tips and Spa does not seem to, at least I was not presented with choices. $75 + a tip is far too much. In the end, I'm having a hard time justifying $75 for a very basic pedicure. I guess I'll go back to the non-English speaking place.

The salon is very clean and the owner insists on sanitary procedures and equipment, and clean work stations. I have my nails done with SNS every two weeks. Their pedicures are also very enjoyable.
