Since my husband and I know nothing about wedding timing, he was awesome about helping us build our timeline to make sure everything went smoothly. He has a very impressive yet unimposing style, and while he happily took any formal photographs that we wanted, he excelled at "capturing the moment" shots. He took our suggestions and improved upon them and was able to direct us to the shots that he recognized we would want. He even created a photo label for the DVD... cool added touch, whereas he could have simply written on it with a Sharpie. Also, included was an extra DVD copy for each of our families. However I can attest to his character and people skills. First, the planning process with Anna was very easy; she offers a few packages to suit your budget, and she was willing to travel to Chicago to check out our unique first look location prior to the wedding. Upon meeting Anna in person, we knew we hired the right person: she is very warm, kind, and immediately understood what we wanted to capture on our wedding day. The day of the wedding, Anna and her husband Paul very efficiently (it was VERY HOT out) were able to take our first look, bridal party, and family photos. Upon going into the ceremony, both my husband and I completely forgot Anna and Paul were there... they were not in our face, and we got to enjoy our wedding night without feeling like we were always posing for photos. Okay, so here is the kicker... it's not the staged photos that blew our minds (they are perfect and lovely), but the spontaneous and natural photos. Anna captured the moments that no one else saw: the gestures between bride/groom/bridal party, the laughter, the nerves, and most importantly all the joy and love in the room.
