I won a boudoir package from Sierra (owner and photographer of Sierra Nevada Photography) in June and did it in July. I was so nervous and didn't know what to expect, but Sierra answered all my questions to ease the nerves. The day I went was actually a really dark day for me, but those photos showed a different side of myself I have never seen and really wanted to embrace. I didn't bring a lot of clothes and I was stiff and still nervous, but Sierra was nice and I ended up being comfortable enough. In August, I purchase a mini session with Sierra and her partner in crime, Cass (she does modeling and they own their studio together). I was more comfortable this round and brought more clothing options and really stepped out of my comfort zone. I talked more while I got my hair and makeup done (that was included in the first shoot too), and was really open to posing and what Sierra and Cass wanted to do. It was a lot easier the second go around because I knew what to expect. Sierra knows what she's doing, but is always open to ideas and different poses. Cass was fun to hang out with too! I love all the photos that were taken and Sierra does amazing editing. Each session portrays myself and how I felt in that time and they're amazing. I plan to go back to Sierra at some point in 2021.
