Al is awesome! He welcomes the opportunity to provide quick and efficient service when requested…read more He is honest on pricing and labor based on the needs of the job. I needed a shed torn down so that I could have my New Tuff Shed installed. Not only did he remove the old shed, but he also installed a beautiful new gravel pad for my new shed to be installed on. I would recommend everyone that is considering an estimate for a new outdoor project, start with calling AL @A&B Junk removal. You won't be disappointed!

Al Irish. Unfortunately, the luck 'O the Irish was not upon this experience. Called for an…read moreestimate on concrete road debris to be removed from my back property that I had dug up. I asked if he does that and he says, yes. He could come out to give me an estimate. I also sent photos of the rocks I need gone. I'm at work. He comes out. Without permission drives across my back property, about 35 feet, leaving deep tire ruts in the grass from his truck instead of walking to visually and physically check the work to be done. Al sends me photos of the rocks he'll remove for $250 (which honestly there's a set to this day I can't figure where on the property they were) and says, quote: "Includes the disposal fee, the dumpster needed, labor and drive time." Excellent! Let's do this. Even though the biggest rock is showing in the picture, I want to make sure and ask about it. I even mentioned over the phone there were three not totally dug out, but almost. The outlines were there to see how wide and big. Response: "However, the ones that are buried, this would be a challenge very large and heavy. I'll have to use a sledgehammer or jack hammer. This would be an additional $200. I'll need help on those two." I respond, "They're probably not as big as you'd think." First Red flag. Because the picture he first sent literally has those in it. But i need them out. I say go-ahead. After a bit he sends me photos of what he's taken. All except the large one and says, "I'll have to come back with help on the two that are buried." I paid him the $250 requested via his CashApp request. Stupid move. For the record as a tip. Don't ever do that. You pay half at the beginning and last half when the job is done. Second Red Flag: When he finally does come back, after delaying because the ground is "soft," the "Help" he brings is a young kid around 12. Come on, Man!! Really? He works around the rocks I paid, and wanted removed, to dig out others. Doesn't remove requested and says there was more than he expected and he can take what he dug up for not the extra $200, but $250 now. Saying, "But Honestly what I took and the labor to get out what we did should be about $500 because iam charged $120 per half ton just to dump." Shows a picture of the one I LITERALLY called him out to get on the first day and says "This one I can't get without using a machine. Maybe my neighbor will let me borrow his." And, referring to the ones he's taken away, "My weight dump was $185." Quite frankly, that's not my problem. First day you came out you seen the rocks I wanted out with a visual. Instead of digging them that day you could have returned with the proper machinery and tools to properly remove or not taken the job. I didn't say that day and frankly thought you'd come back becuase I wanted to sift through pebbles that were taken. Third Red Flag: After a few days with no contact, I call to find out what his follow-up time frame is. The response is "can't borrow my neighbor's skid steer. Best bet would be to just cover it with dirt." So unacceptable. Upon that, I request $70 for the yard damage driving his truck caused on my property and quite frankly should have requested my money back for the work not being completed as agreed on. He declined and responds: "I am confused. Why are you requesting $70? I was hired to remove rock from your yard on an agreed amount. Once completed I then quoted for the additional rock removal. Tho we did not remove the large one, instead we took 6 others that were buried that you did not see buried, in exchange of the bigger one. In fact I quoted $250 more and was paid only $200, technically I am still owed $50." You be the the judge. I paid $250 CashApp, $200 cash and another $50 CashApp to be told I can't get equipment. Maybe just cover it with dirt. Tsk. Tsk. If you they are thinking of asking Al Irish at A & B Junk Removal to come remove concrete, just don't. Luckily, I was able to find an AMAZING company, who brought the proper equipment to the job the FIRST TIME, a Skid Steer plus five yards of top soil to fill the holes and repair the tire groove damage. So may the Luck 'O the Irish be with you. But for concrete debris removal stay from Al Irish at A & B Junk Removal. It's too much of a hassle.
