Both of us have modeling experience and have worked with a number of photographers before, so we already had a sense of what it feels like to be in front of a camera. It's a tricky thing when you're hiring a photographer because you never know if they are going to capture that feeling/ ambiance you are looking for. More importantly you never know if you'll work well together. If you don't feel comfortable with the photographer or if they don't give you enough direction, the pictures won't turn out. Being a sometime photographer myself, I am pretty picky when it comes to photos. What I appreciated the most is that he took the time to make sure the pose and lighting was just right.
