The room where I waited was clean and organized, and they had some calming music playing which helped a bit. The assistant asked some questions and wrote down the responses while explaining a couple of things to expect. They seemed attentive and aware of what was going on around them. The doctor came in and had a calm tone which made it easier to explain things. We talked about a few recent changes I've been feeling and they made a few notes while asking clarifying questions. They didn't seem in a rush and actually waited for my full answer before speaking again. They shared some insights and what might be affecting my situation. I liked that they didn't claim to have all the answers right away and left room for follow up. It was a solid experience and the people working there gave off a respectful attitude without being too formal.

He can always know what is going on with the patient based on objective & subjective findings and his 50+ years of experiences, and so offer proper advice or options based on the patient's individualized conditions. Timely best possible referrals have saved many people's lives because he knows very well where to direct the patient to go for their further care and treatment. BTW, your heart won't break after you get the bill. The charges are extremely reasonable. His staff, Andrea and Monica, are warm-hearted people who love to help people as well. I know this because I have been in this office for a few years practicing Chinese medicine, providing acupuncture and related services. Just give you a couple of examples: Dr. Dave found my patient's huge tumor with his ultrasound machine upon her first visit and offered her a timely & best possible referral so my patient got very well taken care of; he spent hours and hours trying to find a super specialist who can really solve another patient's very difficult problem in his budget; ... Dr. Dave works beyond office hours everyday. He may follow up with patents, making referrals, talking with his colleagues ... . Even when the patient himself gives up and becomes hopeless, he doesn't. He is trying to work out a solution for everyone no matter how difficult the problem is. I highly recommend Dr. Dave. Once when I went to see him, I had a very rough condition that would have cost me a great hardship just to get the prescription for it filled. But he had been hoarding free samples from pharma companies, just happened to have the one I needed, and he was able to give me 2/3 of the scrip at the office, no extra charge. It made the difference to spare me what could have been a few more days of misery, had I not had the partial scrip when I walked out of the office. For that one act alone, Dr. Tyler, you shall forever have a gold star by your name. I also liked that he didn't scoff at herbal remedies and actually tailored his advice to work in conjunction with them - it's a very rare MD that will do that, ever.

But Dr Welle seemed fine to me, straight forward, balanced, professional. I went to see him about a self diagnosed distal bicep tendon rupture. He confirmed the diagnosis. However, my online research seemed to indicate this condition should certainly be addressed by surgery. The doctor says he does about 8 of these per year, but suggested I also consider a non surgical therapy. He gave me a balanced assessment of the pros and cons of each (some loss of strength with non-surgical...the usual risks that go with every surgery.) He even called in his colleague, without me requesting it, to give a second opinion. All in all, he seemed competent and professional.
