I have had my eyebrows waxed in this salon twice with less than thrilling results. They have an…read moreacutal side of the store named "The Brow Place" so I expected it to be a place where they paid special attention to the brow. Unfortunately both times I was offered a "clean up" and recieved the basic Walmart style wax job. I have very light colored eyebrows which are difficult to see and most places have to spend more time to get them right. I also have one eyebrow that is thicker than the other so other places have plucked a few here and there to even them out. I realize this makes me a more difficult wax and therefore I try not to go to Walmart and I spend a little extra at specialty stores. The first time I got a wax they did a clean up job but did nothing above and beyond. My eyebrows weren't bad but they weren't even and considering I drive over 25 miles to get there I wasn't thrilled. I decided to go back almost a year later and this time my clean up has left me with one eyebrow much shorter than the other. I litterally had to go home and pluck a large portion of my other eyebrow just to make it look similar to the other. All in all she waxed a large area in between my brows and took way to much off one side. I was never offered a mirror and was in and out in 5 minutes. I take partial blame for not complaining both times but the second time around there was no point once the hair was gone. I wont be going back and dont recommend the salon unless you have easy eyebrows that only need a "clean up."

These Mattresses are supposed to last us 10 years and we are only getting about 5 - 6 years out of the ones we have purchased. we bought a mattress from them several years ago, the process was pretty easy they even hauled our old mattress a way for $50. We had this mattress for about two years and had to file a claim first they made us do a string test and they tried to refuse to replace the mattress, we contacted the manager at the time and she got it fix pretty fast, apparently one of the boards in the box spring had a knot in it and broke which was causing the Mattress to sag, however my lower back was causing me a lot of pain. They sent out a new mattress, we had that one for about 5 years and our lower backs and hips were hurting so bad. we ended up shopping around and some how made our way back to mattress firm and ended up buying a new mattress again from them. well we have had this mattress for about 6 years and again our lower hips and backs are hurting we ended up getting a Dormeo mattress topper to see if that would help the issue, it did for awhile but we are back to hurting again. I have been sleeping on pillows under my lower back to just get relief. So to say If you choose to buy a mattress from this location or any Mattress Firm stores. I would be very cautious about what you purchase. I think we are going to skip Mattress firm after this third round of Mattresses. we are again hunting for a new mattress!

The owner of the shop was so sweet and just wanted to talk. I really love when local stores are homey feeling so this was something I would definitely go back for. She makes jewelry by hand and each and every piece is unique so you will never see another like it out there. She uses stones native to KY, and other precious stones that she finds. The intricate detail on every piece is so beautiful I fell in love with so much there. While a lot of the pieces are out of my price range; for being hand made they are definitely worth it because everything is real. This is definitely not j st fashion jewelry these are story pieces. She was willing to show me a piece she was currently working on and we talked about how long it takes for her to make certain pieces. She also let me know that she does custom jewelry, which I think is really neat and a great place to get a special gift for that special someone, or your mom, or whoever. I purchased the one they had in-store and subsequently placed an online order for five more. I never received correspondence except for the order received and order shipped notifications. I was so excited when my order of five trunks arrived -- until I opened the box and found only one. I went straight online and looked at my order history which showed two trunks had been "cancelled" and three had shipped. When I looked more closely at the shipment notification, I noticed it only listed one. (I admit to not having read all the way down and only looked at the expected delivery date.) So I was very happy with the item I found, but am very disappointed with the lack of communication -- even inconsistencies in their order history. I've reached out to customer service, but really if they had let me know I couldn't get all five, I would have cancelled my order.

They usually have a good amount of seasonal items. They had their fall and Halloween items out and displayed and separated by season and holidays and we noticed that some seasonal and holidays items are repeats from last year. They try to provide new and fresh items for the current year which is nice but they were a few items we saw last year that we were hoping they would bring back but didn't. Either way we had a great time browsing and looking at the displays. My only gripe is I wanted a certain tablecloth and they had limited selection and availability.
